As a drysuit diver, you can dive in cold waters all year round while staying warm and comfortable. Only dry suit diving opens up the unique underwater landscapes of cold water to you: dives among the icebergs in the remote Arctic or fascinating places teeming with life despite the cold. Dry suits are also great when diving multiple times a day. Instead of struggling to get out of a cold, wet wetsuit every time, dry suit divers simply keep their suits on. The best way to get into dry suit diving is the SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course. Here, you’ll gain the necessary knowledge and learn all the skills to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit. This includes handling the specialized equipment as well as learning how to deal with difficult situations and problems with the dry suit. During the Hemmoor tour, you can simply go diving with us or continue your training and professional development. Here, we offer the practical components of the Night Diving, Wreck Diving, and Deep Diving courses, as well as training content from the Dive Guide course. This tour involves on-site costs and our service fees. On-site costs, such as lake fees, tank fills, and lodging, must be paid on-site. Service fees are payable to scubalu.de. Club members and course participants receive a reduced service fee, as this allows us to offset a portion of the costs incurred. For the Hemmoor weekend, these fees amount to €60.00 for club members and €100.00 for non-club members. Club members participating in courses are completely exempt from service fees. Why are service fees charged? Even before booking a trip or tour, we incur several hours of work—and thus costs—due to planning, detailed coordination, and organizational matters. We also have to cover on-site expenses, such as lodging, travel, etc. We must therefore be compensated for at least a portion of these costs.

Earn Your Dive Guide Certification with SSI The Dive Guide course is the first step on an exciting journey. You’ll learn to safely guide certified divers in various environments and under different conditions. Through dive briefings, assessing dive conditions, and leading dives, you’ll quickly develop into a confident Dive Guide. Over the course of time, countless sea creatures have conquered these imposing structures as habitats, so that you dive through living history on every dive. Wreck diving is unique and incomparable. The SSI Wreck Diving Specialty course teaches you everything you need to know and master in practice and theory to become a safe and confident wreck diver. First, you will learn how to safely plan and conduct dives on wrecks and artificial reefs to a depth of 30 meters without penetrating deeper. You can then try out your newly acquired skills on real wrecks in open water. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Wreck Diving Specialty certification. The SSI Night Diving & Limited Visibility Specialty course is the best way to learn everything about night diving and practice the techniques needed to become a safe and confident night diver. In a balanced combination of theory sessions and open water dives, the SSI Deep Diving Specialty course will teach you everything you need for dives between 18 and 40 meters.
