Open Water Diver

Open Water Diver

The Basic Open Water Diver course is the first stage of your diving education. During the training you will learn the procedures for safe diving and the basic rules of movement underwater to a depth of 18 meters. Affordable and understandable training program will allow you to acquire the necessary diving skills for those who have not dealt with this discipline so far. OWD training is a base, after which you will be able to further develop your skills at a later time, such as deep diving training, navigation, wreck diving or other training. Diving requires good fitness, so download the information on diver's health now. Have you answered positively to one or more questions? That doesn't mean you can't dive at all. However, you should consult a particular sub-item of the form with your doctor. But before that, contact us :) The OWD course consists of three main parts: theory, classes in the pool and in open water. We can conduct the training in a weekend option, individual or group up to 6 people (6 people for theoretical and pool classes, in open water max 2-3 people per instructor). There is also a possibility to divide the training into two parts (e.g. if you want to pass open waters during vacations in warm countries). We conduct a standard, one-week OWD course in the late afternoons, starting with theoretical classes in a lecture hall in Gdansk Wrzeszcz. To prepare well for them, use the mobile textbook. You will download it for free! The multimedia textbook is available for mobile devices and desktop computers. The pool part is usually conducted at the swimming pool of Chelm Swimming Pool. For organized groups, it is possible to organize a swimming pool in another place in the Tri-City or Pomeranian Voivodeship. We conduct classes in open water in Chmielno on Lake Klodno. This is an ideal place to learn to dive! All underwater elements are connected by a rope, so that no one has problems with navigation. Most exercises take place at max. 6 meters in depth. For slightly deeper dives we go out in a specially prepared dive boat. Another thing that sets us apart is insurance. We are the only company on the coast that insures our students for €50,000 for the duration of the course. The policy is purchased from Dive Assure. - one of the largest diving insurance companies. The standard OWD course schedule is 3 afternoon classes and 2 full days on the lake. Schedule: Monday 17:00 - lectures in Triton Tuesday 18:00 - pool classes at Chelm swimming pool (2 pool hours) Wednesday hrs. 18:00 - swimming pool classes at Chelm swimming pool (3 swimming pool hours) Saturday 9:00 - classes at the lake in Chmielno, two dives Sunday 9:00 - classes at the lake in Chmielno, three dives, end of the course If the proposed date coincides with your plans - write to us! We will try to adjust the date to your schedule or offer individual classes. After registering your participation in the course you will need to pay a deposit of 700 PLN. Sending us confirmation of the transfer, in response you will receive access to the OWD multimedia course book. Thanks to it you will be better prepared for the training and your future dives. After obtaining the basic OWD diver's degree, you can improve your skills at specialized training courses such as deep diving, wreck diving, navigation or other. Enrollment only through www.cn-tryton.pl.
