You will also naturally encounter the most spectacular sea creatures exactly where the current is strongest. During shore dives, you will notice how easy it is to reach your favorite dive sites from the shore. Waves, currents and tides have a big influence on your diving experience and can also jeopardize your safety underwater if you don't know how to deal with them. In the SSI Waves, Tides & Currents Specialty you will improve your diving skills and understanding of dynamic water movement to dive safely in a variety of environments.
