React Right is SSI's emergency first responder course and provides the knowledge and practical skills to act as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your subject areas, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR and stabilization techniques. You will learn more about administering emergency oxygen and using the defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theory and practical exercise scenarios, this course will give you important tools and confidence to provide emergency assistance. Once certified, you will be able to act as a first aider, administer first aid and CPR, administer oxygen and provide AED support. In Nordhausen everyone is welcome, a group place will be reserved which is closed off (entrance 1) and drinks will be provided, for which a one-time flat rate will be charged. Please take care of your own food. If someone needs equipment, please fill out the rental form (on our website) and send it to us, the equipment can then be picked up on Tuesday.

If you can’t decide which specialty programs are best for you, sign up for the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program! You’ll get to try deep diving and navigation, as well as three other specialty areas, before deciding on a full specialty course. It’s a great way to learn what the Advanced Open Water Diver training is all about and how valuable it can be for your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver program, you’ll be introduced to 5 different specialties by completing one open-water training dive per specialty following a detailed briefing with your SSI instructor. This program gives you complete freedom to explore everything. You can complete the full specialty training at any time and have it count toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

The Baltic Sea, as a local body of water, is home to many different creatures and has its own unique flora and fauna. At the Schwedeneck dive center, you can explore the “house reef” or the seagrass beds.
