The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive buddies and become an ambassador for diving by completing the Divemaster program. All you need is 40 verified dives and certifications in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 verified dives in each area plus Diver Stress & Rescue. Upon successful completion of the Divemaster program, you will be certified as a Dive Guide. If you want to turn your passion into a profession by guiding certified divers, teaching Ecology programs, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor yourself, your next step is the Divemaster upgrade with at least 60 logged/verified dives. The testing of pressure vessels such as diving cylinders, breathing air cylinders and paintball cylinders is a legally prescribed safety measure that must be carried out in Germany by an approved inspection body (ZÜS) and/or ADR in order to ensure operational safety. We offer this service in cooperation with DEKRA. The cylinders are prepared in-house and tested in the presence of the inspector. They are then dried and, if necessary, cleaned inside (photo documentation). As divers, we know exactly what is important and treat the cylinders as if they were our own. We can also carry out valve maintenance on request. The cylinders are ready for collection from us by the deadline and from Thursday of the following week. Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

The Assistant Instructor is the next logical step after the Divemaster on your way to becoming an Instructor. It gives you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience, practice dive briefings, teach theory lessons and take over practical dive training. If you want to advance your career as an SSI Professional, you can complete the Instructor Training course, pass the Instructor Evaluation and qualify as an Open Water Instructor.

You will try Deep Diving and Navigation as well as 3 other specialty areas before deciding on a full specialty training. During the Advanced Open Water Diver program you will learn about 5 different specialties by completing one open water training dive per specialty after a detailed briefing with your SSI Instructor. We’re diving again in two lakes in and around Leipzig/Geisseltal. You can join us for one or both days to dive in the great lakes around Leipzig. In the evenings, we’ll have dinner together and stay overnight at a hotel or, alternatively, camp.
