Dry Suit Diving

Drysuit diving opens up a world of opportunities, including diving remote Arctic destinations and exploring cold-water dive sites teeming with life. Dry suit diving also keeps you warm on multi-dive days when you do not want to spend your time getting in and out of a cold wetsuit.

The SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty program is the best way to become a dry suit diver and teaches you all the knowledge and techniques you need to dive safely and comfortably in a dry suit.

You will learn how to use specialized equipment, like dry suits and BCs, the benefits of dry suits and how to deal with dry suit emergencies – which are unique to this type of diving. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty certification.

Diving Safaris

Red Sea Diving Safari, November 19–26, 2026The name of the “Golden Triangle” route comes from three very popular yet undeniably unique dive sites that we visit during a diving safari in the Red Sea: the Brothers Islands, Daedalus Reef, and Elphinstone Reef.Brothers IslandsWe’ll begin our dive safari in Hurghada, and after an overnight cruise to nearly the very center of the Red Sea, we’ll spend two days exploring the underwater life around the Brothers Islands. On the first day, we’ll dive near Big Brother on the “Aida” and “Numidia” wrecks. The “Numidia,” over 137 meters long, is a shipwreck beautifully overgrown with coral. We’ll start the dive at shallow depths, and the wreck’s hull then drops to a depth of 80 meters. This is a place that dazzles with its colors and the richness of its underwater life, delighting not only wreck diving enthusiasts. It’s the perfect spot for technical divers, who will have the opportunity to perform deep dives. It is here that we encounter many pelagic species foraging in the strong currents off the Braci Islands—sharks, manta rays, and perhaps even a whale shark. The next day, we’ll sail to Mały Brat, where, accompanied by whitetip sharks, we’ll admire the walls covered with gorgonian fans. Advanced divers will have the opportunity to “hunt” for tiger sharks and lionfish at the “cleaning point.”Since 2019, OVERNIGHT STOPS have been PROHIBITED on the Brothers Islands. For this reason, it is not possible to spend two diving days there. Since then, when taking this route, we spend one full diving day at the Brothers Islands, after which we continue on our way.DaedalusAs we continue south, we’ll stop at Daedalus—a unique reef famous for frequent encounters with hammerhead sharks, whose school is often seen near the northern part of the reef. After our dives, we’ll watch the sunset from the very top of the lighthouse.Elphinstone ReefSafari Itinerary We’ll wrap up the “Golden Triangle” by visiting Elphinstone Reef, famous for its steep vertical walls, numerous caves, and beautiful coral cover, frequented by whitetip sharks, turtles, manta rays, and dolphins.Other destinations on the Golden Triangle safari routeDuring the 6-day diving trip, we’ll have the opportunity to dive at locations including Marsa Moubarak, famous for its manta ray dives; Marsa Shouna; and Ras Torombi, renowned for its beautiful coral garden.A route for intermediate and advanced divers. Ocean currents are common, and dives take place in the open sea. Many deep dives await us! We invite you to join us.
