Take an Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course if you want to shorten your surface intervals and extend your dive time. You'll spend more time exploring your favorite dive sites instead of waiting! With the course you will expand your diving knowledge to plan safe dives with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen. After completing the course, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification for 32% or 40%.

Thursday divingWe meet every Thursday at 19:00 for a fun dive. The choice of dive sites and the dive plan depend on the level of training of the participants, as well as the weather and visibility conditions. Before the dive there is a briefing and the buddy teams are divided up. After the dive, we cultivate camaraderie with a logbook entry and a deco beer. The provisional program can be viewed on our website. Changes may be made at short notice due to weather conditions, for example. The definitive dive site will be posted by 18:00 on the respective dive day at the latest and communicated via the "Thursday Diving" group chat. Beneath the ice, another world begins.Crystal-clear water, fascinating ice formations, and unique plays of light make ice diving a truly special experience. Using a shovel and a chainsaw, we cut our way through the ice cover and dive into Arosa’s wintry underwater world. On Saturday, we’ll set up the dive site together and go on two to three dives. On Sunday, we’ll head back under the ice. This year, we’re once again getting together for our traditional fondue dive, and non-divers are also warmly welcome! After a refreshing dive at the Schulhaus dive site in Steckborn, we’ll head to the Pfadiheim at Rosenweiher in Grüneck to log our dives and enjoy a cozy fondue feast. The Feuerpfeil Scout Troop is organizing a fondue get-together this weekend, followed by the “Füürpfiil” bar. This event offers a great opportunity for those who aren’t (yet) ready to dive into the water this winter to socialize with other divers. Each participant is responsible for covering the cost of their own fondue and drinks. Registration is required to reserve a spot.

Have you ever heard that we think more slowly underwater? On November 29, we’re offering the chance to experience the effects of depth in a safe environment at the Helios Hospital in the hyperbaric chamber. In two hyperbaric chamber sessions, each with six passengers, we’ll simulate two dives to a depth of 50 meters. During the session, the group can converse and experience changes in their voices and moods. After reaching the deepest point, we’ll work together to solve various tasks. Even the simplest puzzles can become a challenge at this depth. The experience of a hyperbaric chamber session will help you better assess the effects of increased partial pressures on your body, thereby helping you become an even safer diver.
