Detailed Product DescriptionDuring the Try Freediving trial dive, you’ll experience freediving and learn how to dive safely in controlled waters under the supervision of an SSI Professional.How will the trial dive work?We’ll meet at our dive center, Manta & Seals Divers—Kořenského 5 (we can drive you to the dive site and bring you back afterward).At our dive center, you’ll first complete the theoretical training, where you’ll learn the basics and how the trial dive will proceed. Here, you’ll learn the basics of freediving and its various disciplines, such as static and dynamic apnea, as well as breath-hold diving.Then we’ll head to the pool, where you’ll try out some of the freediving disciplines. Designed either as a standalone program or as a stepping stone to SSI Extended Range diving, this enriched-air diving program provides the fundamental skills that form the foundation for all future technical programs. Using the XR Sidemount or Twinset Total Diving System, this program prepares divers to plan and execute limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters. In addition, this advanced nitrox diving course teaches you the techniques and procedures for using breathing gases up to 100% oxygen for decompression.

Underwater photography has some challenges not found on land, but with the SSI Photo & Video specialty program, you will soon learn how to capture your amazing underwater experiences. SSI's specialized Diver Stress and Rescue program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to recognize stress, how to prevent accidents, and learn practical techniques for performing rescue procedures and providing emergency assistance. Through a combination of pool and open water training, you will be well prepared and confident in dealing with emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

The Assistant Instructor qualification is the next step after earning the Divemaster award on the diving instructor pathway. It will allow you to gain valuable teaching experience, practice briefings, teach theory lessons and lead in-water training. If you want to continue your journey as a dive professional, simply complete the Instructor Training Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation and become an Open Water Diving Instructor. The introductory, or informative, class will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 5:30pm at the Manta & Seals Dive Center. Here we will also discuss the individual lessons and the course so that you are prepared for the upcoming diving season.

Restart your life! Become an SSI Instructor and turn your dreams into reality. The training process begins with joining a combination of the Assistant Instructor and Instructor Training courses. The entire program consists of theoretical lectures, pool and open water instruction, and is supplemented by digital instruction. Upon successful completion of the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you will pass the final "Instructor Evaluation (IE)" assessment to qualify as an SSI Open Water Instructor. This training program qualifies you to self-instruct various SSI core programs such as Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Perfect Buoyancy, Diver Stress & Rescue, and Dive Guide. For those who want to spend more time learning and gain valuable teaching experience between training programs, the 3 parts can also be taken as individual steps - Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course (ITC) and Instructor Evaluation (IE) sequentially at your own pace and with a flexible schedule.

SSI's Decompression Diving specialty teaches you how to perform dives beyond the limit without decompression diving. You will learn how to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational complete dive system and one decompression bottle. You will learn and practice how to effectively use dive computer functions including gas changes, gas integration, time to reserve and time to surface. Using these dive computer features will become second nature to you, allowing you to safely perform limited decompression dives without many hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will be certified as an SSI Decompression Diving Specialty and will be able to explore amazing deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being constrained by traditional non-decompression limits. This specialty program will provide you with the knowledge and advanced skills you need to navigate safely and confidently underwater. You will learn how to properly use a compass, natural navigation techniques, distance estimation, leaving and returning to a specific point, and simple navigation patterns. You will also learn how to combine navigation techniques to optimize your diving experience. All of this will contribute to improving your underwater observation skills, increasing your safety while diving and getting the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as an SSI Navigation Specialty.

The SSI Snorkel Diver program is the first step towards discovering your inner mermaid. It is the best way to learn how to snorkel and develop your confidence in the water, so you can go snorkeling and explore the mesmerizing landscapes and marine life of the ocean. You do not need to be a proficient swimmer to participate in the Snorkel Diver program and there is no minimum age to join in. You just need to be comfortable in the water, able to maintain your buoyancy and ready to begin the adventure of a lifetime! During this basic program you will learn everything you need to safely freedive with a buddy in a pool/enclosed water up to 5 meters deep. In this program, online training is combined with in-water practice to give you all the skills and knowledge you need. Upon completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Basic Freediver.

The SSI Explorers program allows children ages six and up to dive underwater and try different ways they can explore the aquatic world around them. They will gain a solid foundation in ocean conservation and have the opportunity to experience the ultimate aquatic adventure: snorkeling and scuba diving. SSI Explorers can also expand their diving knowledge as they continue their underwater experience with specialized courses such as marine mammal ecology, underwater photography, and 20 other courses. In addition to fun for the whole family, your children who have not yet reached the minimum age for diving will learn important life skills. A flooded quarry with a maximum depth of 22 meters. The site is maintained year-round and offers services such as tank refills, refreshments, and more. The quarry’s main attractions are the wreck of an MI-8 helicopter and an albino catfish.In the quarry area, you can encounter typical freshwater species. Carp, bream, catfish, and pike can all be seen. In the shallow bay of the quarry, there is also a garden of water lilies extending to a depth of 5 meters.

The SSI Extended Range training program is the core program that all other open-circuit programs build on. This program is the start of your exciting journey to become an accomplished tech diver. Using either a sidemount or twinset configuration, this program prepares you to plan and conduct decompression dives to a maximum depth of 45 meters. You will learn the techniques and procedures for using breathing gases and nitrox mixtures of up to 100% oxygen for decompression. You will earn the SSI Extended Range diver certification after completing this program and gain new tech diver knowledge.

In this fascinating program, you will learn all the skills you need to safely and confidently conduct search and recovery dives. You will be taught how to use search patterns, specialized dive plans and equipment such as lift bags, lines and reels. By developing your search and communication techniques and practicing searches in a dive team, you will become a confident search and rescue diver in no time.
