React Right is SSI's Emergency First Responder course and gives you the training and knowledge you need to act as an emergency first responder. In this flexible diving programme you can choose the subjects you want to learn about, including primary assessment of the scene, first aid, CPR and primary stabilisation techniques. You can also learn how to administer oxygen in a diving emergency and the basics of using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Through a combination of lectures and practical training using scenario situations, this programme will give you the tools and confidence you need to respond to an emergency. Become a dive instructor and live your passion. To join the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) you must be a certified dive master or have an equivalent qualification. This comprehensive programme is part of the two-stage approach to SSI Instructor Training. It starts with a combination instructor training course supported by in-depth digital learning. On successful completion of the ITC, you will undertake an Instructor Evaluation (IE) to become an SSI Open Water Instructor. As a certified instructor, you will be able to independently teach SSI's core programmes such as Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. Need more time or want to gain practical experience before becoming a full instructor? You can do the assistant instructor part as an independent step.
