Open Water Diver

The SSI Open Water Diver course is one of the most popular and well-known entry-level courses in the world of scuba diving. It opens the door to the fascinating and exciting world beneath the surface. The Red Sea around Hurghada offers ideal conditions for this. You can expect an incredible variety of marine life and pleasant water temperatures all year round. The course lasts 4 days and consists of 8 dives. Day 1: Theoretical introduction to the basics of diving, 2 dives to a depth of 5 meters in a lagoon with practical exercises. Day 2: Diving to a depth of 5 meters with further practical exercises and preparation for the theoretical exam. Day 3: Diving to a depth of 12 meters and consolidation of the knowledge already acquired. Day 4: Diving to a depth of 18 meters and the theoretical exam. After passing the exam, you are allowed to dive to a depth of 18 meters. Prerequisites: Minimum age: 10 years Sufficient swimming skills Good physical condition Medical certificate
