Research and Photography Diving @ Mornington

Join Aquaholics for a research dive in Mornington. What will we be researching? We’ll be searching for the 35 target species in the Great Victoria Fish Count (visit https://vnpa.org.au/programs/great-victorian-fish-count/ to learn more about this citizen science initiative), and since we’re at Mornington Pier, we’ll also be specifically looking for Cephalopods, Benthic Sharks, and Rays (since they’re all relatively common here). We’ll provide identification charts and other survey materials—you just need to bring your cameras and your best creature-spotting skills. Meeting time: 9:00 a.m. to jump in between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. Please register so we know to expect you and how much equipment to bring. Aquaholics club membership covers all guide fees; non-members will be charged a $20 fee to cover staff costs.
