Open Water Diver
To enroll in this course, participants must be at least 10 years old, with those aged 10 to 14 receiving a Junior Open Water certification. Physical requirements include the ability to swim 200 meters without aids or 300 meters using a mask, fins, and snorkel, as well as the ability to float or tread water for 10 minutes. A completed medical questionnaire is mandatory for all participants; if any health conditions are flagged, a physician’s signed clearance must be provided before any water activities begin. On the day of training, participants should bring their own swimsuit, towel, a change of clothes, and a reusable water bottle. While all gear is provided, students who own a personal mask, snorkel, or fins are encouraged to bring them to ensure the best possible fit and comfort during the dives.
