Become a dive instructor and live your passion. To join the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) you must be a certified dive master or have an equivalent qualification. This comprehensive programme is part of the two-stage approach to SSI Instructor Training. It starts with a combination instructor training course supported by in-depth digital learning. On successful completion of the ITC, you will undertake an Instructor Evaluation (IE) to become an SSI Open Water Instructor. As a certified instructor, you will be able to independently teach SSI's core programmes such as Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide. Need more time or want to gain practical experience before becoming a full instructor? You can do the assistant instructor part as an independent step. This allows you to assist with actual student courses, gain valuable experience through classroom work and then complete the instructor evaluation at your own pace.
