Thursday divingWe meet every Thursday at 19:00 for a fun dive. The choice of dive sites and the dive plan depend on the level of training of the participants, as well as the weather and visibility conditions. Before the dive there is a briefing and the buddy teams are divided up. After the dive, we cultivate camaraderie with a logbook entry and a deco beer. The provisional program can be viewed on our website. Changes may be made at short notice due to weather conditions, for example. The definitive dive site will be posted by 18:00 on the respective dive day at the latest and communicated via the "Thursday Diving" group chat. React Right is SSI’s emergency response course for first responders and teaches the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond correctly as a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible course, you can choose your topics, such as initial assessment, first aid, CPR, and stabilization techniques. You’ll learn more about administering emergency oxygen and using an automated external defibrillator (AED). With a combination of theory and hands-on practice scenarios, this course gives you essential tools and the confidence to provide emergency assistance. Once you’re certified, you can act as a first responder, provide first aid and CPR, administer oxygen, and provide AED support. This year, we’re once again getting together for our traditional fondue dive, and non-divers are also warmly welcome! After a refreshing dive at the Schulhaus dive site in Steckborn, we’ll head to the Pfadiheim at Rosenweiher in Grüneck to log our dives and enjoy a cozy fondue feast. The Feuerpfeil Scout Troop is organizing a fondue get-together this weekend, followed by the “Füürpfiil” bar. This event offers a great opportunity for those who aren’t (yet) ready to dive into the water this winter to socialize with other divers. Each participant is responsible for covering the cost of their own fondue and drinks. Registration is required to reserve a spot.
