The SSI Extended Range Foundations course offers you the opportunity to expand your already advanced diving skills in a workshop-style setting. You’ll learn more about using technical equipment in conjunction with the Total Diving Systems for which you’re already certified. Building on your basic skills, you’ll perfect buoyancy control, trim, finning techniques, positioning, and communication. The Extended Range Foundations course is supplemental training to existing certifications and is designed to increase the diver’s confidence and control in the water. Using technical equipment and an XR Sidemount or Twinset Total Diving System, the Technical Extended Range Diving course provides enthusiastic underwater explorers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct mixed-gas dives with unlimited decompression down to a depth of 60 meters.
