Recreational Sidemount Diving

In this side-mount diving course, you’ll learn everything you need to know for recreational side-mount diving using one or two tanks to a maximum depth of 30 meters or your certification depth, whichever is deeper.

Side-suspension diving is already a common practice among wreck, mine, and cave divers, but now more recreational divers are discovering its benefits. With no heavy tank on your back, you’ll feel more comfortable in the water and find that your buoyancy and control improve effortlessly. By using less energy, you may reduce your gas consumption so you can make the most of your dive time. With better buoyancy control, easier access to valves, and greater repeatability, side-suspension diving offers safety and peace of mind.

This is the best way to discover and enjoy the appealing benefits of this style of diving. You’ll learn all the skills and knowledge you need for the Side-Mount Diving course to dive safely and comfortably using a single- or double-tank side-mount configuration.
