Dive Guide

Become a Certified SSI Dive Guide The Dive Guide program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn to safely lead certified divers in a variety of environments and conditions. By conducting pre-dive briefings, assessing dive sites, and leading dives, you’ll become a confident dive guide in no time. Start your diving career by working as a Professional Dive Guide or continue on to earn your Divemaster certification. Do you enjoy diving? Would you like to lead your family or friends (certified divers) on recreational dives? Take the SSI Diving Guide course and do what you love without the obligations that professional divers have (such as the need for liability insurance or paying an annual fee to SSI). Divers turn to dive guides because they inspire others. As a dive guide, you’ll not only dive a lot, but you’ll also experience the joy of watching other divers have just as much fun as you do. The dive center in Norway is a great place to take the course. Our experienced SSI instructors will guide you through high-quality training, ensuring maximum safety and fun. Who can take this course? SSI Dive Guide courses are ideal for advanced and master divers (as well as PADI, ACUC, CMAS 3*, etc. equivalents) who want to continue their training and have a very high level of diving but do not wish to become professionals. The prerequisites for this course are as follows: – Hold the following certifications: Stress and Rescue Diver + Deep Diving + Navigation + Night Dive – Be at least 15 years old – Logbook with a minimum of 40 logged dives (note: to become certified as an SSI Diving Guide, you must have a minimum of 50 logged dives) – Medical certificate of fitness to dive issued within the last year
