TRY SCUBA EXPERIENCE

The Open Water Diver course is your international certification and is the first level of diving certification that qualifies you to dive up to 18 mt anywhere in the world also it is ISO certified which gives you scores in case of competitions in the armed forces and school and university credits. The course includes 5 training sessions in a confined (pool) or delimited (sea) environment where you will learn all the skills that will make you master underwater for example you will learn how to empty a mask underwater, manage your buoyancy, handle emergency situations, etc., these sessions will be followed by 4 more in open water (sea) where you will practice what you have learned in the confined or delimited sessions in dinghy dives where we will take you dive after dive to the depth of 18 mt. To this program of practical activities we will insert theoretical/practical workshops for knowledge development and you will study through digital material that we will provide you with through an app that you can download to a smartphone and/or tablet. The cost of the course is €500 and includes all the dives described above, equipment rental, training materials and final certification....you will not have any other additional expenses. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or bank transfer and if you want you can also defer the cost of the course in installments at no additional cost to you!

UNDERWATER CLEAN UP - FEMALE ISLAND BECOMES A BLUE OCEANS AMBASSADOR It's no secret: Every year tens of thousands of marine animals and seabirds die because they eat or become entangled in trash in the ocean. This marine debris is known to devastate habitats (both underwater and on land), enter the food chain of aquatic life (in turn reaching our digestive systems), and foul once pristine and pristine coastal areas. 70 percent of the trash that ends up in our ocean sinks to the seafloor. Join the Underwater Clea Up program that harnesses the potential of divers and uses their love of the ocean to help solve the problem of underwater marine debris. We are proud to support this global citizen science project by conducting weekly cleanup dives in our precious coral reefs. How our Underwater Clean Up meeting works at Diving Center Saracen at 09:30 we will provide tanks, weights and net bags, so all you have to do is bring yourself and your diving equipment (equipment rental is available) Our dive starts at the Scalo Madonna dive site in Isola delle Femmine near the dive center and lasts 45-50 minutes, then all the debris collected after the dive will be separated and sorted so that we can identify the major sources of marine pollutants finally we will conclude with coffee and a brainstorming session on effective solutions we can implement locally to stop the waste at the source. Diving Center Saracen sends all data to the various agencies in charge to help raise awareness and inform local policy change

SSI Specialty Decompression Diving will teach you how to dive beyond the limits of no decompression. You will learn how to plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 40 m, with limited decompression, using your Total Recreational Diving System and a single stage tank. You will learn and propver how to effectively use the functions of your dive computer, including gas change, gas integration, reserve time, and ascent time. The use of these computer functions will become second nature, allowing you to safely conduct decompression-limited dives without hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore wonderful deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being restricted by traditional no-decompression limits. The opportunities to expand your diving adventures just got bigger!

As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, as well as shorten your surface intervals. So you can spend more time diving and shorten your surface interval! In this course you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge, learning how to plan and dive safely with air mixtures enriched up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification. The course includes 2 open water dives

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you everything you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters, through a complex of academic sessions and open water dives. You will learn how to safely plan and complete your deep diving adventures and how to use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most out of your deep dives. Upon completion, you will have your SSI Deep Diving certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you choose. This SSI specialty is also a prerequisite for some advanced training, making it the next logical step to take in your dive training.

The Try Scuba program, also known as a “first dive,” is an experience for those who have never gone underwater or do not have a certification that qualifies them to dive. The program includes a theoretical andpractical session with an instructor, during which the operation of the diving equipment and the basic rules for safe diving will be explained. This is followed by putting on the full set of equipment and, finally, a dive lasting approximately 40 minutes to explore the underwater world in complete safety with an instructor. The cost of the Try Scuba experience is €70 per person. Reservations must be made by phone or via WhatsApp message.
