Become an SSI Assistant Instructor in Curaçao and take the next step in the SSI Professional pathway.
During the SSI Assistant Instructor program, you will develop the knowledge, demonstration skills, and instructional skills necessary to function as a qualified assistant in SSI dive courses.
The training consists of digital SSI theory, theoretical guidance, practical training, and the required evaluations in accordance with the current SSI Standards & Procedures. Among other things, you will learn to work with the SSI training system, deliver academic presentations, demonstrate skills, and assist an SSI Open Water Instructor during training sessions.
The training is provided by Duikcentrum van de Ven at Caracasbaaiweg 360 in Jan Thiel, Curaçao. We deliberately operate on a small scale, which allows plenty of room for personal guidance and professional development.
To participate, you must meet the current SSI admission requirements for Assistant Instructor. Before the program begins, we will therefore verify your professional certifications, logged diving experience, required prerequisite courses, and SSI documentation.
Upon successful completion and once all current SSI requirements have been met, you can be certified as an SSI Assistant Instructor.
