React Right is SSI's first aid course and provides the training needed to be a first responder in a medical emergency. In this flexible program, you can choose which topics you want to cover, including first aid, CPR and primary stabilization techniques. You can also learn about emergency oxygen delivery while diving and the basics of automatic external defibrillators (AED). Using a combination of theory and practical training scenarios, this program will give you the tools and confidence you need for emergency response. The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive buddies and become an ambassador for diving by taking the Divemaster program. All you need to get started are 40 verified/logged dives and certificates in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 logged/verified dives experience in each area plus Diver Stress & Rescue. The SSI Decompression Specialty teaches you how to dive beyond non-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and execute to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational diving equipment and a single decompression cylinder. You will learn and practice how to effectively use the functions of your dive computer such as gas switching, gas integration, time-to-reserve and time-to-surface. Using these computer functions will become second nature, allowing you to make safe dives with limited decompression without spending hours on dive planning. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being limited by traditional non-decompression limits.
