During the basic course, you’ll learn most of the theory behind scuba diving and many important diving skills. It’s important to choose your course location and instructor carefully, as this will lay the foundation for your entire future hobby.
“You can learn to dive in a day, but learning to dive safely takes more time.”
We want to give students time to thoroughly master the necessary skills, but we also understand that vacation time is sometimes limited. That’s why we offer two different options so you can choose the course format that works best for you. You can complete the entire course with us under the Thai sun, or complete the pool sessions in advance in Finland, so that during your vacation you can immediately head to a real diving environment to practice the skills you learned in the pool.
Ask for more information about our partners with whom you can complete pool and theory training in Finland before your vacation in the warmth of Thailand.
Upon successfully completing the course, you will have earned an international scuba diving certification that is recognized worldwide, and you will be authorized to perform recreational dives to a depth of 18 meters. The certification is available electronically in the SSI app.
