The Open Water Diver course is the right place to start. The Open Water Diver course is a basic instrument diving course that teaches you the basics of scuba diving and will earn you an internationally recognised SSI qualification upon completion.

The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive buddies and become a diving ambassador by completing the Divemaster program. All you need is 40 logged/verified dives and certification in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 logged/verified dives in each area plus Diver Stress & Rescue. Upon successful completion of the Divemaster program, you will be certified as a Dive Guide. If you want to turn your passion into a profession and become a Certified Dive Guide, Environmental Program Instructor, Assistant Instructor or even an Instructor, the next step is to upgrade to a Divemaster with a minimum of 60 logged/verified dives. You can upgrade to Divemaster immediately or anytime later after self-studying the Science of Diving materials and passing the final exam that will make you an SSI professional.

SSI's specialized Diver Stress and Rescue program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers. You will learn how to recognize stress, how to prevent accidents, and learn practical techniques for performing rescue procedures and providing emergency assistance. Through a combination of pool and open water training, you will be well prepared and confident in dealing with emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to try scuba diving for the first time. You'll dive in confined water where you'll be well looked after by your instructor, so you can enjoy an unforgettable first breath underwater and the magic of diving. At the end of this short course, you'll get your first SSI Try Scuba card and be guaranteed to want to dive again. As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins and reduce your surface intervals between dives - so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you'll learn new skills and expand your diving knowledge while learning to safely plan and execute dives with an air mixture enriched with up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.
