INTERMARE DIVERS, 17455 ALIMOS

Kyra Leni (Wreck) (★4.5)

This is the famous wreck of the Kyra Leni, located in the southern part of the island. The vessel is facing the island. The bow sits at 12 meters, whereas the deepest part of the wreck is at 29 meters.

2nd Limanaki (★4.7)

This is the most famous dive spot for shore diving in Athens. Depths range from 2 to 39 meters, and is home to the famous “pigadi,“ a hole ranging from 7 -30 meters. Strong currents can occur at the bottom so be prepared.

Arsida Canyon (★4.5)

One of the most interesting dive spots in the Saronic Gulf. A great dive for all levels of certified divers. Visibility is excellent and depths reach more than 50m.

Pontikonisi (★4.5)

Pontikoniso a small island in the middle of Vouliagmeni’s gulf. Ideal for all levels as it offers a good area for anchoring with a reef, then a wall. Depths range from 3 meters up to 40 meters. Visibility is excellent and marine life is also very interesting.

Katafygi Cove (★4.6)

The ideal shallow protected little bay for training, introductory dives. Protected from prevailing north winds. No currents. Almost always good visibility. Maximum depth 18 meters.

Pothitos (★4.4)

Pothitos Island is famous for 3-4 different dives for all levels, from beginner to expert. Marine life is rich and visibility is excellent. Depths range from 3 to 50 meters with small surprises hidden in the rocks.

Aquarium (★4.7)

Located in the middle of the ocean, this volcanic plateau is home to the largest amount of sea life in the whole area. The spectacular visibility and extensive area are two of the reasons Aquarium is favorite site in the area and one that could be dived every day.

Burger Bun (★4.9)

The name of this site doesn’t do justice to the beauty of it. Amazing rock formations and incredible blue waters sit perfectly against the white sand of the seabed of yet another uninhabited island. The clear waters and stunning views make this a wonderful dive site.

Avantis III (Wreck) (★4.8)

This wonderful wreck dive makes for an interesting change of scenery for those looking to explore another side of the underwater world. The wreck is a 80m cargo ship that sank 15 years ago.

Kyra Rock (★4.7)

This dive is located around a small outcrop of rocks just off the deserted island of Kyra. There are drop offs and walls as you journey around the rock and back to the boat, making the site suitable for beginners and Open Water to Advanced divers.

Kyra Point (★4.2)

Arsida Walll (★4.4)

Excellent wall dive starting at 7 meters and ending at more than 55 meters. Very good visibility and protected from northern winds. Marine life is also intresting here.

Krabo Beach (★4.7)

Ideal for training with an easy sandy beach entry. Parking is allowed from autumn till spring, but summer is crowded. Bottom is sandy with poseidonia and sand. Great for in dives. Visibility is very good.

Aqualung

Lava Flow, Methana (★4.9)

This site is a wall of lava from Methana Volcano. Deep water, around 100m minimum below you! Coloured sponges cover the wall and many schools of fish swim in the blue and below. This dive can be done at different depths.

Porto Ennia (Porto 9) (★4.6)

A fairly easy shore access to big depths, in a bay protected from most weather conditions. You have to follow the rocky slope to 40m down where the sandy area begins.

Scubapro, Stephen Frink

Apsida Patroklou (Αψίδα Πατρόκλου) (★4.5)

Protected by south winds this is an easy dive site. It starts by going through a big arch at 8m of depth. Then you head west following the rock formations. Maximum depth well beyond 40m, but you can turn around at any depth.

Legraina Fish Farms (★4.7)

A very interesting shore dive, next to a fish farm. Medium visibility, sometimes medium strong current, depth up to 45m.Tricky entry and exit cause of sharp rocks around.

Vgethi (★5.0)

This dive site offers some nice deep diving with a shore access. The drive down to the coast can be tricky for non 4 wheel drives. You can dive anticlockwise the island since the deepest part on on the north east part of the islet.

Aqualung

Kalypso (★4.5)

Ideal spot for shallow dives, courses, try scuba etc. Sandy entrance and then a rocky environment that goes down to 7 meters depth. Protected by all winds, only affected by SW wind.

Scubapro

North Wall of Artzentas (★5.0)

A slow slope on the north part of Arsida island. Main attraction is the pottery scattered around from depths of 30 till the surface. All diving certification levels will enjoy this dive site.

Pothitos Reef (Xera) (★4.4)

A reef close to shore but only boat accessed. Starts from 3m depth and goes down to more than 40m. Excellent wall formation, usually no currents, but some time you may experience a light one. Great visibility.

Oria (★4.5)

SS Oria was a Norwegian steamer that sank on 12 February 1944, causing the death of some 4,095 Italian prisoners of war, 21 Greeks and 15 Germans. It was one of the worst maritime disasters in history, and the worst maritime disaster caused by the sinking of a single ship in the Mediterranean Sea.

Petrokaravo west (★4.6)

An impressive rock formation out in the ocean, far away from the nearest shore. Big pinnacles from 50 meters up to 30 make a dramatic impression. Usually lots of fish around. Some unexploded shells from the WW2 around.

Vromopousi (★4.5)

Very easy shore access. plenty of parking except around summer. A huge poseidonia field in the beginning, and the remains small boats scattered all around. A nice slop towards the southeast that becomes sandy at around 37 meters... There is a light constant current

Nea Makri beach (★5.0)

This site offers incredibly easy access, making it perfect for divers of all experience levels. A spacious area with benches is available for convenient equipment preparation, along with shower and changing facilities for added comfort.

St.Andreas beach (★0.0)

A relaxing and beautiful dive site with crystal clear waters and a lot of marine life.Very easy access with shower and changing facilities.Ideal for scuba lessons and exploration.

Marathon Beach (★4.7)

The dive begins over a sandy seabed, gradually transitioning to a vibrant rocky area teeming with abundant marine life.Amenities include:Shower and changing facilitiesAn on-site restaurantA cozy cafeteria.

Small River (★0.0)

This dive site is a perfect spot for relaxing dives in stunning surroundings. Adjacent to the dive site, you’ll find a small river with crystal-clear water, the sandy beach of Schinias, and the Schinias National Park. Schools of small and medium-sized fish are commonly seen here.

Cleio Shipwreck (★5.0)

On the southern side of the small island of Dipsa, at a depth of 27 meters, lies the shipwreck of Cleio, an iron ship that sank in 1904.The tiny island of Dipsa rises sharply like a rocky pinnacle in the middle of the Evoikos Gulf, crowned by a small lighthouse at its summit.

Feather Star (★3.5)

A tranquil dive awaits behind Cape Marathonas, offering easy access to crystal-clear waters. This relatively secluded area features steep rocky formations and deep waters, creating a serene and captivating underwater landscape.

Ancient mine (★5.0)

This spot offers easy access to the water, with a small path winding through trees and leading to a rocky platform resembling a natural pool.After passing through a shallow area, you’ll reach a reef that starts at 8 meters and slopes down to 30 meters.

Small Cave (★3.0)

This dive site offers easy water access and promises a relaxing underwater experience. The area is rocky with deep waters, making it an excellent spot for scuba diving.At the end of the dive path lies a small, safe cave that opens into a hidden chamber within the rock, adding a sense of adventure in the dive.

Purple Rocks (★2.0)

At the end of Cape Marathonas, you’ll find a dive spot nestled in a serene, pool-like cove with calm, crystal-clear, deep waters.This dive offers a relatively easy and relaxing experience, characterized by vibrant, vertical rocky walls.
