The boat jetty and the entrance to this house reef are only 30 m from the base. The most beautiful part of the bay is reserved for divers and swimmers and secured by a buoy line. This beautiful house reef offers something for everyone down to a maximum depth of 15 m.
This is a boat or shore accessible dive that is 2-18 meters deep. As easy dive, this site is great for new divers and more experienced divers alike. It is located very close to Puerto Marina in Palamós. You will find a cozy cove with a very special charm due to the type of houses there.
Situated 200m from the coast, this is one of the most beautiful dives in the Cala Montjoi area.With a depth ranging from 12m to 30m, the scenery alternates between sandy seabeds, coralligenous and rock.
Located in the bay of Cala Joncols, this dive takes place along a drop-off from 5m to 20m and on a rocky bottom. Sometimes referred to as “La fall“, the dive culminates in a canyon some 40 metres long.
The most popular and best-known dive in the southern part of the Cap de Creus Natural Park. Located at the tip of Cap de Norfeu, this site is rich in both fixed fauna and fish.
A first route is possible in the 20m zone, a large rocky scree with lots of life. A second section offers a magnificent drop-off from 20m to 45m, starting at the cat’s eye. Finally, take advantage of an air pocket from 14m to 3m.
Anchoring the boat takes you directly to a drop-off that starts at a depth of 27 metres.The first part of the dive follows the drop-off between 27 and 40 metres. Then it’s time to head back up to the 20-metre zone to find some large rocky scree.
This is one of the most splendid diving spots, with the most abundant underwater life in the area. Depths from 5m to 30m, ideally between 15m and 25m. All the fish of the Mediterranean are represented here, in the midst of a colourful environment.
The continuation of the walls of the Pedra de Déu, continuing towards the east, leads us to the area of Pota del Llop, a name that comes from a formation on the outer wall that resembles a wolf's footprint.
Located about 1.5 miles east of Portlligat, Illa Messina is a 12-25 m dive, punctuated by a 40 m-long rocky canyon in the submerged mountain.
Island of the Natural Park of Cap de Creus with southern zone included in the partial protection. The dive takes place between two rock formations, from 12 to more than 40m. Exposed to currents and suitable only for experienced divers. The north side is protected as an integral reserve.
Departure from the coast, famous for its ease, diversity and abundance of life. Different routes with pre-coraligen from 17m to 30m. Ideal for day and night dives.
As an extension of Punta Santa Ana we find a large block of granite rock. Its profile of 17 to 3 meters depth is responsible for a good number of shipwrecks that have left us different archaeological remains among which we can still enjoy a few falconetes and cannons of the sixteenth century.
This dive from the beach is ideal for practicing and developing the skills of a good diver, following the jetty on our right bank and out to sea we reach 7 meters deep.
This dive takes place at a depth of 27 meters, where, once anchored, you move through the different blocks, which are home to a variety of typical Mediterranean species. Nitrox is recommend. This is an excellent dive for photography.
This corner allows you to enjoy a calm and well-protected dive from the tramuntana. An abundant underwater fauna is visible without the need to reach too deep, although it can reach up to 28m where there is coralligen. It gets its name from the black rock on the cliff, where small stalactites hang from the ceiling
Pinnacle or wall dive (if the shallow depth is sought). The pinnacle starts from the surface and descends to 26 meters. At the pinnacle is a cave which can be found crustaceans, nudibranchs and scorpionfish.
Infantry dive located next to Port Marina in Palamós. It is perfect as a first dive to explore the underwater world and for those who are at an early stage of diving. For the more advanced, we can find fantastic places like the Bethlehem, the Wind Rose, or the anchors.
Just a 10 minute boat ride, you find this fantastic dive site. Ideal for all diving levels, from OWD to the most advanced. 5 minutes of diving will get you to the ship wreck Boreas.
Dive from boat. Easy NE-SW direction rocky bar with minimum depths of 14 meters and maximum of 23 meters. Perfect for Open water level, always bring flashlight.
Boat dive. We find a rocky bar in the direction NE-SW in which the minimum depth is about 17 meters although we can reach up to 27 meters on the sea side. We recommend Nitrox in case of prolonged immersion close to the hour.
Farthest place of Salinas, we will find an area between 15 and 28 meters deep with a rocky bottom, in the same wall of Punta Salinas there is a wall of red gorgonia with a maximum depth of 28 meters. A good point to make a half turn and return the boat safely.
Diving on the east side of the Meda Gran, the name of the queen is motivated by a small cave that we will find on top of the island, the depths that we will find are 8 and 24 meters, underwater there is a limestone bottom and a large platform that rises almost to the surface...
A dive site near Cerbère renowned for its underwater rock formations and diverse marine life. Accessible to intermediate to advanced divers, this site offers depths generally varying between 10 and 30 meters.

It has several caverns and tunnels decorated with anemones and red corals. Inside the caverns, you can find scorpionfish on the rocky bottom. To carry out this dive, good buoyancy control and flashlights are required.
Boat dive. These are two parallel rocky bars with depths between 15 and 23 meters. Between the two bars there is a flat space covered by a posidonia meadow. It is called La Calzada because of its very flat top which some people interpret as the remains of an ancient Roman road.
Depth 4-45 meters. One of the most visited dives of the Medes Islands for its diversity and quantity of fauna, we will start the descent at the anchor buoy located on the south face of the Carall.
The Chaparro is a wooden fishing boat in poor condition, but being on a sandy bottom, serves as a refuge for many species. It is accessible to all levels of divers.
Easy dive. It can be done on the wall at a shallow depth (6-8 meters) and it can also be done over the Posidonia meadow that is between 12 and 18 meters deep. Juvenile wrasse, cuttlefish, octopus, and nudibranch tend to take refuge in it.
Diving site where we find depths between 5 and 36 meters. Coral beds, oceanic posidonia between 8 and 15 meters and sandy areas from 22 meters, diving is done on the south side of Ferranelles island where we usually find the greatest diversity in the area.
Boat dive. Depths are between 27m in the upper part and 35 meters in the deepest part, on the sea side. On both sides of the bar you will find sand. Much of this dive is deeper dive and so nitrox is recommended. Lots of life lives in the rock, so it is recommend to carry a UWlight.
Perfect dive for beginner divers due to its ease of orientation, for photographers since its shallow depth ensures long and calm dives. A great place for night dives.
This site is the bruts little brother, and a popular site for try dives and beginners, as well as training new techniques. You will find great fauna and flora. This is an easily accessible dive site from the beach.
The Cathedrale is an extension of the brut at an average of 22-24m depth. A great dive for more advanced divers. The Cathedral gets its name from the underwater structure in the form of a cathedral.
This dive site located east of the Formigues Islands is a deep and technical dive where you will find a diversity of abundant flora and fauna, the colors make for a beautiful dive.
The Reggio Messina was built in Italy in 1970. It is a 122m long ferry. It sank in 1991 to make it an artificial reef. It is located on a sandy bottom at 35 meters, so it will be better to visit by the superior structure. It is now broken into 3 pieces.
It is an easy dive. The average depth is between 10 and 14 meters. It is accessed from the coast. Suitable for beginners and photographers. Great variety of macro species such as nudibranchs and crustaceans. If you are lucky, you will be able to find seahorses.
Just south of Cap de Begur, sheltered from the north winds, we find a large island, made of dark rock, which is called Illa Negra. This is a simple dive, for all levels and that is always covered from the waves.
Ideal boat dive with Nitrox but can be done with air. This site has depths between 19 and 25 meters so watch your decompression limits. It is also useful to carry a flashlight.
The Heinkel is a World War 2 bomber plane. Long believed to be a civil war bomber. It has recently been correctly identified. One of very few exemplars of heinkels are still in existence in the world. It was hit by anti aerials over Tarragona.
It is the most south oriented island of the Medes Islands, we will find depths between 8 meters at the side of Tasco Petit and 42 meters to the east. At the anchor buoy we already find 18 and 25 meters, the dive is exposed to the wind and currents of any direction...
La Nacra is an underwater mountain located right in front of the Blanes Botanic Garden, just 5 minutes sailing from the port. With depths of 12 to 22 meters it is an ideal dive for all types of divers.
Dive from boat. Easy NE-SW direction rocky bar with minimum depths of 17 meters and maximum of 23 meters. It is able to Open water level, always bring flashlight.
Two rock formations separated by a sandy bottom channel with abundant life. Once anchored, we begin the tour surrounding the largest rock whose maximum depth is 17 meters. Ideal for photography, where the use of nitrox is essential to enjoy as long as possible.
The anchoring is done at a depth of 19 meters and consists of two route options up to 24 meters. The use of Nitrox for this dive is recommended in order to fully enjoy the diversity of species.
Dive boat. NE-SW easy steering rock bar with minimum depths of 14 meters and maximum depths of 23 meters. Perfect for Open water level, it is recommended to always carry a flashlight.
The anchor line falls right in the middle of the two rocks, in the canyon. The anchorage is eight meters away, guided by the walls of both rocks, in a southerly direction and at a maximum depth of 24 meters we find a wide variety of rocks that house most of the marine life of the dive.
Very well protected from the north wind, this set of tunnels that cross the island from one side to the other, we find them between 14 and 24 meters. We can find currents inside the tunnels, from north or south... Undoubtedly these tunnels create an iconic place of the Medes Islands.
Santa Anna is a pyramid-shaped rock, with depths from 26 meters to 34 meters at its deepest. This dive is for advanced divers and also ideal for Extended Range dives and Deep Diving. The use of a flashlight is essential.
