Panagsama Beach is a world-famous dive site because of the sardine ball that can be found just a few meters below the surface within snorkeling distance from the beach. This is an amazing experience for all levels of divers.
A beautiful nursery reef filled with life and colour! The perfect dive site for all levels with a sandy runway starting at 2m following a kelp covered rocky reef. Max depth of 10m. Newfie is well protected by the surrounding headland at low tide and can be dived in most seas.
Only 20 minutes by minibus to the Glashouse dive site, gently sloping grey sand from the beach, with occasional coral growth, mainly muck / critters
Tricky, rocky entry at this site (need flat sea). Two reefs seperated by a rock slope. Each reef and a small cavern are the highlights. It is a divesite that gives you a lot of options of diving it.
The site itself starts from rocky shallows leading to a gentle slope that continues down past 30 metres. Although the fine sand and rocks are the most distinguishing feature, the site is also home to a lot of small corals, wire corals, and hydroids.For critter lovers this is a great site in the Seraya area.
ごりちょ(ゴリラチョップ)は本部町の崎本部ビーチのこと。冬場北風になってもここのポイントは穏やかである。特に冬場になるとカエルアンコウやニシキフウライウオなどのマクロ生物を求めて多くのダイバーが集まる。施設にはシャワーやトイレがあるが、シャワーは温水が出ない時もある。駐車場は8:30から。施設は9:00から利用可能である。(2023年11月現在)
Found in a beautiful inlet along the coast is a peaceful kelp forest starting at 7m. After dropping into the kelp forest the dive follows a wall down to a max depth of 30m where you can spot an abundance of life in the cracks and overhangs as you swim through a airy cavern back around to the anchored boat.
A small but fascinating rock formation surrounded by sandy bottom, rich in marine life and perfect for underwater photographers. Its sheltered position, excellent visibility and easy diving conditions make it a top spot for relaxed dives at all levels. Maximum depth: around 13–16 metres.
In the middle of the Naama Bay lays this dive spot with coral blocks in 2 to 40 meters depth surrounded by sea grass areas. Here is nearly no current to expect and since the dive spot is in a protected area without boat traffic the marine life is very diversified.
Gota Iris is the last block from Shaab Iris. Shaab Iris is located in the Abu Nugar region, which is about 1.5 hours from El Gouna and consists of a main reef and many coral blocks. The average depth is 14m.
A great shore dive that is located 11km from Marsa Alam. There is easy access to the water in a bay format, suitable for entry level and experienced divers alike. The reef extends to the north and to the south where the bay divides; you can decide which direction to go...they are both good dives.
Marsa Shagara is a bay with an easy sand bottom entrance that leads to South or North reef dives. The depth starts at 1m and drops to 40m + outside the bay. It is one of the most pristine house reef dives in the south. This dive is great for entry level and experienced divers.
Travel time approx. 90 minutes. This wreck sank in 1991 with many casualties. The Salem Express is 110m long and 18m wide. She lies at a depth of 12-33m.
Circle Divers Dahab House Reef Is one of the most unique, unknown dives in Dahab located right In-front of the diving center located at Jazz Dahabeya Hotel. The dive starts at the sandy entrance and is a very easy entry for all diving levels.
Nice house reef with a north and south side. Easy access from the beach. No boat traffic! No current and diveable in any weather. Night and early morning dives are possible daily!
A fantastic dive site that can be accessed by daily boats or as a shore dive. Shallow with a sloping bottom toward a north or south running reef. The south reef can be reached by Zodiac or from the shore.
Narrow entrance with a sandy bottom. Nice coral. A good dive site to make drift dives from the zodiac on the North Anemone City. Good for experienced and beginner divers.
The reef wall drops away to a sandy plateau at about 13m, at the center is a gully with swim throughs at 10m and 35m. There is an eel garden to the north.
Gordon reef is most famous for the wreck of the “Loullia” which ran aground on the northern end of the reef in 1981. This dive can be done as either a drift or a mooring dive, mooring on the southern side of the reef.
Naama Bay is a sheltered Bay where you can find coral blocks in different sizes. Between these blocks are sea grass areas and sandy bottom. And in some areas are artificial reefs and as well a sunken zodiac.
There is a garden of anemones and about 60 statues on the far right side of the dive site. This is a nice second dive in the morning to get away from the crowds at Liberty Wreck. Entry and exit from the beach can be difficult.
A great dive site with WC in the parking lot. Only about 50m to the water above the dike. The diving depth is between 3-6m and there is a current to be expected.
Secret Bay can only be dived during high tide. You will need very good buoyancy so as to not disturb the bottom. This is a muck dive so no coral is present but fun life to see! This site is accessible from shore and is a great night dive. You can dive to the left or right. This is an advanced dive, not good for beginners.
This is one of the most famous dive site in Egypt. The Elphinstone Reef is full of healthy corals, magnificent clear blue water, and rich marine life. It is also a great destination to see your first shark.

Type: Coral and soft coral reefMax Depth: Approximately 24 meters (80 feet)Skill Level: Open Water Diver and above. Entry: Shore entry. Current: Generally mild; occasional medium currents suitable for drift diving
Dive site Kerkweg in Den Osse is one of the most famous dive sites in Zeeland. Here you can dive from the jetty on oyster beds, an artificial reef of reefballs and many other hard substrate that is nicely overgrown. The maximum depth is about 30 metres, but you will find most life in the shallow water.
One of the oldest known dive sites in this area, Mangrove Bay has certainly kept its beauty over the years. This is a great dive site for all diver levels with very healthy corals and easy access to the water from shore.
Bay with sandy entry. The sandry bottom is slow downgoing till 40 meters. On both sides are coral gardens will 30 meters. A rope is helpful to enter and exit the dive site by current.
The Lighthouse dive site is about 3.5 km away at the Dahab Bay and suitable for all level of divers. The reef starts north of the entrance with a sandy slope and leads you to big coral columns and bolders, as well as lovely coral wall on your way back.
Shallow dive underneath Swanage Pier. Maximum depth 5m. Best dived at high tide. Visibility can get poor due to inclement weather. Stay underneath the pier due to boat traffic.
Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well.
The dive site Blank-Eck is located directly adjacent to the Putlos shooting range. Attention: diving is not allowed in the prohibited area! Nevertheless, it is possible that you will find some ammunition there. Please do not touch it!
Ever wanted to dive under the Fehmarnsund Bridge? Then you’ve come to the right place. This is a drift dive directly under the bridge. Attention: Using a dive buoy is mandatory due to the ship traffic.
This dive site is covered in underwater plants with an old weather station sticking out of the water. Especially interesting are the marl banks. At this dive site, there is always current, sometimes stronger and sometimes weaker. Entry from the beach. Large parking lot available.
This 40m long supply boat was sunk in 1987. Resting at a maximum depth of 20m, this site is perfect for all diving levels and, due to its sheltered location, makes a great night dive.
Dive Site: Several blocks beautifully overgrown with hard and soft corals. Max depth: 30m. Travel time: Approximately 30 minutes south from Port Ghalib by boat.
One of the top macro dives anywhere! Scattered ruins and columns are coral encrusted and provide habitat for many types of shallow sea life. The pier is 1526ft/465m long so lots to discover with a gradual westerly decline. Perfect for snorkeling & non-certified divers too.
Also known as Shoni Bay, this site has an easy, sandy entrance with the main reef to the north and south. On the south side, around 80m from the main reef, beautiful coral blocks are found with a lot of colorful hard corals.
Brothers Island, or El Akhawen, is a “must dive“ for every diver that visits Egypt. This dive site can be reached only via liveaboard boats. The location contains two islands, the small and the big island. This is a more advanced dive as it can have strong currents and deep drop-offs with lots of shark sightings.
The dive site is located approx. 70km south of Marsa Alam and is a shallow dive from 5m to 25m with easy access from shore over the sand to the shipwreck that lays at 16m /17m deep. This dive is suitable for entry level divers, however, in rough conditions, visibility might not be the best.
THERE IS ONE LARGE OBLONG REEF WITH A CHAIN OF THREE BLOCKS STREATCHING SOUTHWARDS.THE EAST SIDE SHELVES TO 15M. AND CATCHES ENOUGH CURRENT TO BE QUITE COLOURFUL. THE MOORING AREA IS WELL PROTECTED FROM THE SEA, CURRENT IS USUALLY MILD FROM THE NORTH.
The White House Scuba Diving Lodge offers direct access to nearby dive sites, including the impressive House Reef. This site features a steep wall drop starting just 30 meters from shore, descending to 60–70 meters. Ideal for various skill levels, it offers both shore and boat dives.
Flat, sheltered site, structured ground with occasional large stones, chargeable car park, public toilets approx. 200m away.
One of Cebu’s most colorful dive sites, Pescador North has an exciting cave with a vertical swim through, offering views of the surface and a variety of beautiful coral and fish to see.
In this amazing Macro diving spot, you will find a couple of boats and cars that were sunk in the muck created a very interestiy dive site on the beautiful black sand
A favourite macro critter diving site; especially for NIGHT divers. Cruising across the sloping seagrass & soft coral beds to find the pipe, which lies in between several coral & sponge encrusted mooring blocks. Easy navigation with tons of macro life. Max depth 16-18m. Best dived on high slack tide.
Located 30km from Marsa Alam, Elphinstone North is one of the main dive sites in this area with lots of sharks and some of the most healthy coral reefs in the region. It is a 90 minute boat ride to reach, however definitely worth the trip!
This dive site is on the reef right in front of Pier Uno Dive Resort. Starts with a sandy bottom; then as you move to the northeast, there are some corals and rocks. Further northeast is a sunken jeepney and a guardhouse beside it.
25min drive south. Only diveable at high tide and little wind. Large, shallow washouts that you can dive into. Reef slopes quickly, steep wall on the northern side.
The nearby jetty can be used to enter this dive or you can enter from the shore through a very nice small canyon leading you to the clear blue water. This dive starts with a sloping sand bottom where you can choose to head to the north or south reef.
