Just outside the Sahl hashisch bay, 20, 25 min away from Makadi bay and hurgada. Nice shallow dive site that can be done either as a stationary dive or as a drift dive. sandy plateau that turns into a drop off and a lot of ergs full of marine life.
15 min by boat north of Makadi bay, near by the stunning abu hashisch island. Nice, protected lagoon to start the dive that leads to a stunning coral garden full of marine life. The dive is done starting from the lagoon and back inside the lagoon. Easy for divers of any level.
Oman Aquarium, located inside Mall of Muscat is Oman’s first recreational, educational, tourism and heritage project. Maximum depth is about 10 meters and you can diving there from 15 to 50 minutes.
Five minutes drive by dive boat from the port of Flic en Flac is the reef near dive site Little Swiss. The site is ideal for novice divers as it has inviting coral formations at very shallow depths.

Located east of Zihuatanejo Bay, it has a depth of 40 feet, where you can admire extensive reef formations. Its calm, crystal-clear waters are ideal for beginner divers.
In the middle of the Naama Bay lays this dive spot with coral blocks in 2 to 40 meters depth surrounded by sea grass areas. Here is nearly no current to expect and since the dive spot is in a protected area without boat traffic the marine life is very diversified.
Under 1h from El Gouna to the south you can find the beautiful reef block of Shabha. The top of the reef starts just under the water’s surface and extends all the way to the sandy bottom just 14m deep, making this a shallow dive. To circle the entire reef will take you about 1h. On the east side there are also some pinnacles.
Elphinstone South is an amazing off-shore reef dive and preferred by many as an afternoon dive due to the fantastic lighting. The dive slopes down from 18m deep to the deepest top of the plateau at 40m.
Easy dive along the coast; max. depth: >40 meter; distance: about 15 minutes in north of Port Ghalib. Boat diving. mostly slight current from north to south.
A great shore dive that is located 11km from Marsa Alam. There is easy access to the water in a bay format, suitable for entry level and experienced divers alike. The reef extends to the north and to the south where the bay divides; you can decide which direction to go...they are both good dives.
Marsa Shagara is a bay with an easy sand bottom entrance that leads to South or North reef dives. The depth starts at 1m and drops to 40m + outside the bay. It is one of the most pristine house reef dives in the south. This dive is great for entry level and experienced divers.
Dive site is 10min by boat from Marsa Alam marina. The perfect place for a drift dive around the reef. Nice, colorful coral all around plus a small, old wreck to explore.
About 30 minutes from the coast by boat. The main reef extends to 14m deep. The south side goes to 20m. There is little current but due to its size, it can be a bit windy and is not always approachable when winds are strong.
Entrance: beach/ shore, depth up to 12m, after approx. 180m relaxed from the beach, well suited for Scuba Skills Updates and Try Scuba.
An easy dive without much current, therefore suitable for beginner divers. From Tobia Kebir, you can make 3 different dives. Also diveable in bad weather.
Nice house reef with a north and south side. Easy access from the beach. No boat traffic! No current and diveable in any weather. Night and early morning dives are possible daily!
A fantastic dive site that can be accessed by daily boats or as a shore dive. Shallow with a sloping bottom toward a north or south running reef. The south reef can be reached by Zodiac or from the shore.
Narrow entrance with a sandy bottom. Nice coral. A good dive site to make drift dives from the zodiac on the North Anemone City. Good for experienced and beginner divers.
Located East of Praslin island, approximately 15-20 mins boat ride from the dive centre, time may vary depending on the weather conditions. The dive consists of submerged granitic rocks to which there are sponges and corals gripped onto them . Average depth 15-22 metres.
The Canyon is located 1.5km from the Blue Hole. Another geographical marvel, it is a deep fissure in the reef that you reach after entering a shallow lagoon and swimming along a coral garden plateau.
Done as a boat drift dive or from shore, this dive site offers lots of color and marine life as well as great topography. From the shore, follow the reef on your left for a deep wall dive, but watch for the current at the corner. Follow the reef to your right, you’ll have the bottom beneath you at around 32m.
Gordon reef is most famous for the wreck of the “Loullia” which ran aground on the northern end of the reef in 1981. This dive can be done as either a drift or a mooring dive, mooring on the southern side of the reef.
Dive Place that is characterized by its excellent visibility and variety of marine flora and fauna such as green moray eels, turtles, barracudas, among others. Maximum Depth: 26 meters.
Normally dived from the boat, Temple gets its name from the topography of the site which loosely resembles an underwater temple. This ’temple’ is easily dived, starting from the shallows of around 6m, until you make your way through a tiny swim through out in to the blue at which point you’re able to reach 30m+.
Shark’s Bay is one of the most common dive sites in SSH. The bay formation and it’s easy access attract snorkelers and divers of all levels. The gentle sloping bottom makes it perfect for conducting courses. A dive to the north or to the south reef can be done; both are great dives.
Naama Bay is a sheltered Bay where you can find coral blocks in different sizes. Between these blocks are sea grass areas and sandy bottom. And in some areas are artificial reefs and as well a sunken zodiac.
There is a garden of anemones and about 60 statues on the far right side of the dive site. This is a nice second dive in the morning to get away from the crowds at Liberty Wreck. Entry and exit from the beach can be difficult.
With a depth of 5-40m this site has something for everyone. It is also very nice for snorkelers. Navigation to the boat can sometimes be a bit difficult because it is located in the middle of the coral garden.
This dive site is a flat area with soft coral at a depth of 5 meters, followed by a wall that reaches approximately 35 meters. This site is covered by large sea fans and several other types of coral.
The south side of the house reef can be easily accessed via the jetty. The path to the large coral garden can be reached by diving along a reef wall.
Shoaab Samaday, also known as Dolphin House, is a protected area by the Egyptian environment authorities. The crescent formation of the reef and shallow water has, over the time, attracted bottlenose dolphins to use it as a rest location. This dive is perfect for entry level divers and snorkelers alike.
This is one of the most famous dive site in Egypt. The Elphinstone Reef is full of healthy corals, magnificent clear blue water, and rich marine life. It is also a great destination to see your first shark.
Playa Kalki with the dive site “Alice in Wonderland“ is the most north-western dive site which is possible from shore. A beautiful reef runs parallel to the beach with large coral formations. The best diving depth is between 5-20m.Parking, restaurant, toilets and diving school are on site.
One of the oldest known dive sites in this area, Mangrove Bay has certainly kept its beauty over the years. This is a great dive site for all diver levels with very healthy corals and easy access to the water from shore.
Bay with sandy entry. The sandry bottom is slow downgoing till 40 meters. On both sides are coral gardens will 30 meters. A rope is helpful to enter and exit the dive site by current.
The Lighthouse dive site is about 3.5 km away at the Dahab Bay and suitable for all level of divers. The reef starts north of the entrance with a sandy slope and leads you to big coral columns and bolders, as well as lovely coral wall on your way back.
Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well.
The Dunraven wreck is lays a bit further out than the popular daily dive sites around Sharm el Sheikh, on Shaab Mahmoud. This wreck is laying upside-down and is gives shelter to many species.
Offshore Island with stunning reef walls all around it. Potentially very strong currents which can change throughout the dive so be aware of this. Drift diving and deep diving experience is essential. Make sure you also have an SMB on every dive.
Located 12km North of Dahab, the famous Blue hole dive site is a large submarine sinkhole, 150m across and 110m deep. The dive can start or end at the blue Hole as you can enter the water north of the sink hole at Ells Bells and multi level your dive to end at the blue hole.
Hardy Reef, on the Great Barrier Reef off Airlie Beach, is home to the Reefworld Pontoon. There is spectacular fish life with Trevally, Coral Trout, Snapper and a host of smaller marine life as well as Giant Maori Wrasse and a two metre long Giant Queensland Groper that usually congregate for a free feed.
Nice shallow reef with maximum depth of about 15-20m. There are several options for diving including drift diving and the pinnacles around the south east are a great place for exploring and finding unusual marine life
The surroundings of El Muellito and the two breakwaters of Playa Chica form a magical place to enjoy diving both day and night. This shallow dive is privileged for snorkeling, baptisms or the first initiation practices.
The entrance to the dive site is from the jetty. There is a coral wall until 12m and then a sandy bottom with few coral gardens dropping to 40m. Beautiful hard corals.
This site consists of a mini wall, coral head formations, sandy boulevard, and main wall riddled with swim-throughs. As super fun dive and perfect for beginners and advanced divers alike.
This amazing reef are 3 blocks. The biggest begins in the south between 80-100m long and it's full of corals, it would be nice we can start here. In the east we have another wonderful block a bit similar to east block Maya Thila covert full with corals. In the north is the smallest block. AOW or higher
Al Munassir wreck was a Navy vessel 84 m long sunken on porpose in 2003. The vessel lays between 25 and 30 m of depth in navigation position.The wreck is house of many fishes, and abundant biodiversity
One of the top macro dives anywhere! Scattered ruins and columns are coral encrusted and provide habitat for many types of shallow sea life. The pier is 1526ft/465m long so lots to discover with a gradual westerly decline. Perfect for snorkeling & non-certified divers too.
Also known as Shoni Bay, this site has an easy, sandy entrance with the main reef to the north and south. On the south side, around 80m from the main reef, beautiful coral blocks are found with a lot of colorful hard corals.
