A beautiful nursery reef filled with life and colour! The perfect dive site for all levels with a sandy runway starting at 2m following a kelp covered rocky reef. Max depth of 10m. Newfie is well protected by the surrounding headland at low tide and can be dived in most seas.
クロスラインは珊瑚礁と砂地の癒し系ポイント。かつて漁で使用され台風で沈んだロープがクロスしていることからポイント名となった。そのロープ沿いでは多くのマクロ生物を観察できる。数匹のコバンザメを引き連れているアオウミガメもクロスラインの見物である。砂地にはトウアカクマノミのコロニーもいくつか観察することが出来る。
A great shore dive that is located 11km from Marsa Alam. There is easy access to the water in a bay format, suitable for entry level and experienced divers alike. The reef extends to the north and to the south where the bay divides; you can decide which direction to go...they are both good dives.
Marsa Shagara is a bay with an easy sand bottom entrance that leads to South or North reef dives. The depth starts at 1m and drops to 40m + outside the bay. It is one of the most pristine house reef dives in the south. This dive is great for entry level and experienced divers.
An easy dive without much current, therefore suitable for beginner divers. From Tobia Kebir, you can make 3 different dives. Also diveable in bad weather.
The boat jetty and the entrance to this house reef are only 30 m from the base. The most beautiful part of the bay is reserved for divers and swimmers and secured by a buoy line. This beautiful house reef offers something for everyone down to a maximum depth of 15 m.
Spectacular rocky formations, tunnels and caves will surprise us at this dive spot. It is recommended to do it from boat because the access of emergency teams is so difficult, jus in case is needed.
The dive spot of Pasito Blanco is situated about five minutes from the sports beach in Pasito Blanco at the south of the island. The sea floor is like a rectangular morphology up to 60 meters long and 16 meters wide. A visit to Pasito Blanco to explore all the nooks and crannies can reveal a whole variety of life.
Named for the old slave huts located here. Easiest entry is from near the second hut. Cross a long sand bank to reach the coral area. Look for eagle rays in the shallows.
Joanne’s Sunchi (or Joanne’s Kiss) is a beautiful dive site with a deep dropoff. Along this dropoff where a lot of coral grows, there are sand ridges that extend to depth.
Klein Curaçao is 11 km/7 miles to the east of Curaçao which means a long boat ride and diving is often done during a day trip or in combination with a dive at East Point. Diving is possible all around the island but usually restricted to the north-east and south-west parts due to weather conditions.
Nice house reef with a north and south side. Easy access from the beach. No boat traffic! No current and diveable in any weather. Night and early morning dives are possible daily!
Also known locally as “The Tower”, it is located approximately 12 miles east of Rudee Inlet (Virginia Beach) and north west of the Virginia’s artificial reef. The structure consists of four huge legs extending into the bottom.
A fantastic dive site that can be accessed by daily boats or as a shore dive. Shallow with a sloping bottom toward a north or south running reef. The south reef can be reached by Zodiac or from the shore.
Narrow entrance with a sandy bottom. Nice coral. A good dive site to make drift dives from the zodiac on the North Anemone City. Good for experienced and beginner divers.
The Canyon is located 1.5km from the Blue Hole. Another geographical marvel, it is a deep fissure in the reef that you reach after entering a shallow lagoon and swimming along a coral garden plateau.
Entry: use the alleyway next to The Marine Room Restaurant. Careful during higher tide as the water will wash on to steps. Sandy bottom, stays 3-5 meters for at least 100m out from shore.
Gordon reef is most famous for the wreck of the “Loullia” which ran aground on the northern end of the reef in 1981. This dive can be done as either a drift or a mooring dive, mooring on the southern side of the reef.
Naama Bay is a sheltered Bay where you can find coral blocks in different sizes. Between these blocks are sea grass areas and sandy bottom. And in some areas are artificial reefs and as well a sunken zodiac.
There is a garden of anemones and about 60 statues on the far right side of the dive site. This is a nice second dive in the morning to get away from the crowds at Liberty Wreck. Entry and exit from the beach can be difficult.
A great dive site with WC in the parking lot. Only about 50m to the water above the dike. The diving depth is between 3-6m and there is a current to be expected.
Located in the area called “Bay of Pigs,” Punta Perdiz is a very popular dive destination due to its conditions: easy diving and little current. This dive site is suitable both for beginners and expert divers. More advanced divers can slip over the wall that is accessible during the dive.
Secret Bay can only be dived during high tide. You will need very good buoyancy so as to not disturb the bottom. This is a muck dive so no coral is present but fun life to see! This site is accessible from shore and is a great night dive. You can dive to the left or right. This is an advanced dive, not good for beginners.
Navy Barges is a site containing two shallow barges that are a haven for marine life. They were used as accommodation barges during the 2nd World War. After the war, they were used as a Navy training area & finally sunk in 1961. The swim throughs are perfect for avid photographers!
This beautiful shallow reef site has lots of hard and soft corals, schooling horse eye jacks, turtles or a sleeping nurse shark nestled among the reef.
This is a shore dive. There are jetties on both the east and west side of the pass at this beach - the east side is where people do most of their diving. This is a good local spot with plenty to see.
This is a fairly easy dive made up of ledges and overhangs from Little St James Island that are teeming with coral. This site can also be a good snorkel and night dive opportunity with an average depth of 20-40 feet!
Edmonds Underwater Park is a marine protected area in Washington’s Puget Sound area of the Salish Sea. Established in 1970, the site has since been designated as a no-take zone by the Washington State DFW. With over 25,000 visits from scuba divers, it’s one of the most popular dive destinations in the PNW.
Dive site Kerkweg in Den Osse is one of the most famous dive sites in Zeeland. Here you can dive from the jetty on oyster beds, an artificial reef of reefballs and many other hard substrate that is nicely overgrown. The maximum depth is about 30 metres, but you will find most life in the shallow water.
Playa Kalki with the dive site “Alice in Wonderland“ is the most north-western dive site which is possible from shore. A beautiful reef runs parallel to the beach with large coral formations. The best diving depth is between 5-20m.Parking, restaurant, toilets and diving school are on site.
One of the oldest known dive sites in this area, Mangrove Bay has certainly kept its beauty over the years. This is a great dive site for all diver levels with very healthy corals and easy access to the water from shore.
Bay with sandy entry. The sandry bottom is slow downgoing till 40 meters. On both sides are coral gardens will 30 meters. A rope is helpful to enter and exit the dive site by current.
The Lighthouse dive site is about 3.5 km away at the Dahab Bay and suitable for all level of divers. The reef starts north of the entrance with a sandy slope and leads you to big coral columns and bolders, as well as lovely coral wall on your way back.
The dive site Blank-Eck is located directly adjacent to the Putlos shooting range. Attention: diving is not allowed in the prohibited area! Nevertheless, it is possible that you will find some ammunition there. Please do not touch it!
Ever wanted to dive under the Fehmarnsund Bridge? Then you’ve come to the right place. This is a drift dive directly under the bridge. Attention: Using a dive buoy is mandatory due to the ship traffic.
This dive site is covered in underwater plants with an old weather station sticking out of the water. Especially interesting are the marl banks. At this dive site, there is always current, sometimes stronger and sometimes weaker. Entry from the beach. Large parking lot available.
Cozumel Palace Hotel is an all inclusive five star hotel, from where you have access to the Palace Reef. Discover the depths of the surrounding waters of Cozumel and stunning marine flora and fauna on this reef.
SS Yongala Wreck - The boat is now an artificial reef with amazing marine life that are supersized compared to seeing them on the Great Barrier Reef. You cannot penetrate or touch the wreck as it is a grave site but this doesn’t take away from this amazing dive. Can have very strong currents.
A great mini wall dive with the wall sitting at 50 feet. The surrounding reef is very healthy and full of differently colored corals and sponges.
The surroundings of El Muellito and the two breakwaters of Playa Chica form a magical place to enjoy diving both day and night. This shallow dive is privileged for snorkeling, baptisms or the first initiation practices.
One minute from the closest dive center, Ghost bay is another great macro dive site, paradise for photographers by day and by night. A rock shaped area is habitat for crazy critters!
The southernmost section of the famous Palancar Reef, Palancar Bricks is suitable for divers of all experience levels due to multiple swim throughs are various depths, multi-level diving, and macro photography.
Back Beach, known for an abundance of lobsters and varied bottom topography, provides a straightforward and interesting shore dive great for divers of any level.
One of the top macro dives anywhere! Scattered ruins and columns are coral encrusted and provide habitat for many types of shallow sea life. The pier is 1526ft/465m long so lots to discover with a gradual westerly decline. Perfect for snorkeling & non-certified divers too.
Also known as Shoni Bay, this site has an easy, sandy entrance with the main reef to the north and south. On the south side, around 80m from the main reef, beautiful coral blocks are found with a lot of colorful hard corals.
Turtles site nearby Playa del Carmen, Biosphere protected animal sea area. Plenty of doris, emperors, clownfish, lobster, coral reef, seabass, pufferfish.
The dive site is located approx. 70km south of Marsa Alam and is a shallow dive from 5m to 25m with easy access from shore over the sand to the shipwreck that lays at 16m /17m deep. This dive is suitable for entry level divers, however, in rough conditions, visibility might not be the best.
Its surroundings are protected by a Municipal Decree where hunting and fishing are prohibited. As a result, there is abundant and diverse marine life. The area is well marked on the surface and at the bottom there are submerged cables, a truck chassis, an anchor and a statue of Neptune.
Flat, sheltered site, structured ground with occasional large stones, chargeable car park, public toilets approx. 200m away.
Report to the local diving school at the entrance of Coral Estate, without you are not allowed to dive here. The reef is beautiful, you can enter the water via the pier and after a short swim you are directly on the wall.
