The cornetfish, also called flutemouth, consists of four species of distinctly long and slender fish from the genus Fistularia. These unique fish are identifiable by their flattened stature from top to bottom and extremely elongated bodies. Some cornetfish can grow as long as many eels but are distinguishable by their long tubular snout.
