In this specialty program you will gain the advanced skills and knowledge you need to navigate underwater safely and confidently. You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distances, how to leave and return to a certain point, in addition to basic navigation patterns. We will also teach you how to combine navigation techniques to improve your experience. All of this enhances your underwater observation skills, improves dive safety, and helps you get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of the program you will receive the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

The intent of the SSI CROSSOVER program for dive professionals is to provide guidance for SSI's philosophies and procedures to professionals at other recognized dive training agencies. You are given the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct SSI programs equivalent to your current qualifications in a safe and fun way. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Dive Professional level according to your prior certification and experience as a dive professional.

The Divemaster program is the first step of an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your dive partners and become a dive ambassador by taking the Divemaster program. All you need to get started are 40 verified/logged dives and certifications in Deep Diving, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility or at least 5 verified/logged dives in each area, plus Diver Stress and Rescue. You will be certified as a Dive Guide after successfully completing the Divemaster program. When your interest is to turn your passion into a profession by guiding certified divers, teaching Ecology programs, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor, your next step is the Divemaster Upgrade with a minimum of 60 logged/verified dives. Upgrade to Divemaster immediately or at any time by studying Science of Diving materials and passing the Digital Final Exam that makes you an SSI Professional.
