Located 18km away from Sai Kung Public Pier. The High Island Reservoir is Hong Kong’s largest reservoir by volume of storage. The East Dam is made of over 2500 “double-“T”- or anchor-shaped concrete structures.
South Ninepin Island, part of the UNESCO Hong Kong Global Geopark, lies off Sai Kung and is only accessible by boat. The sheltered bay offers depths of 8–26 m, visibility from 2–12 m, and seasonal water temperatures ranging from 17–30 °C, making it a popular dive site.
Within 30 mins from Sai Kung Pier and Pak Sha Wan. Shelter Island is a site suitable for beginner divers. 3-5 meters depth is best for scuba diving where coral area is found. Beyond 6 meter is sandy/muddy bottom.
