Located 18km away from Sai Kung Public Pier. The High Island Reservoir is Hong Kong’s largest reservoir by volume of storage. The East Dam is made of over 2500 “double-“T”- or anchor-shaped concrete structures.
Depth is around 11-13 meters. Nudibranchs and lobsters are sometimes spotted, you may even see a group of barracudas weaving in and out of sight.
