Dive Site began in the 1970’s as A&L Scuba opened by Jack Arnold & Bob Lovett located at 21st &Sheridan. 1982 A&L Scuba was purchased by Jay Smith and changed the name to Dive Site. He then expanded by purchasing Head Scuba located at 44th & Sheridan around 1984/1985. (Head Scuba was opened originally by John Head around 1978). Both shops were open for a short while and then closed the 21st and Sheridan location. 1992 Dive Site was purchased by Andy Justus, Phil Holland, & Harold Bruton. Sept 1995 Terry Cowles purchased Dive Site and moved to its current location at 8516 E 41st in October 2004. May 2019 Dive Site Tulsa was purchased by the partners. Robb Brinkley and Jill Drummond are now in the process of renovating the current location. Dive Site now has 27 diving professionals affiliated with both SSI and PADI. December 2022 Dive Site had it’s 50th anniversary!

CERTIFICATIONS - We offer a full range of SSI scuba certifications, lessons and classes from open water lessons to instructor certification, including SSI specialty scuba dive lessons – classes such as underwater photography.

Training, Sales & Service - At Dive Site we have an extensive showroom, inventory, diagnostic service, and repair department. Available to you at the Dive Site is safe, reliable equipment, and the training to use it properly and safely. We are conveniently located just west of the Broken Arrow Expressway on 41st street.

Great location for beginners to advanced divers. Parking is close by, but you will need to pay a Day Use Fee if you do not have a Season Parking Pass. There is a men’s and a women’s restroom at the site which is large enough to change clothes, too. A covered pavilion is at the site.

Lake Flint Creek is the coolant reservoir for Flint Creek Power Plant. It is also locally known as SWEPCO Lake. It is located near the town of Gentry, Arkansas.

West Wall Buffs has a wall on the east side and a slope to the west. Popular for local swimmers, snorkelers, and divers. The underwater forest begins at the bottom of the wall. This is a good site to pracice wall diving and Perfect Buoyancy before your next ocean trip.
