5 minutes navitation from the harbour of Fornells. The cavern is approachable from the surface and it drops until 18m depth underwater. As we go, the cavern becomes more narrow. When we look backwards there is an amazing backlight that !will leave you breathless!
Five minutes from the harbour of Fornells. It’s a set of caverns that can be adapted to different levels. Depending on the anchor point we will see the caverns from different perspectives. The backlight that the caverns offer is captivating. Outside the caverns, there are a lot of rocks with holes and tunnels.
Dive spot 5 minutes from the port of Fornells. As soon as we leave the bay, we turn to the right to reach Punta des Murter. It anchors on a platform at 5m to fall to a maximum of 20m. Throughout the dive there is life, tunnels, ceilings and a small cavern with a nice backlight.
Leaving the bay of Fornells, on the rightside, we find the islet of Tirant. A place with a variety of possibilities, from a shallow dive for a try scuba, to dives for divers who want to see more life. It is possible to go around the islet to see a diversity of fish.
10 minutes of navigation from Fornells’ harbour. We anchor in a big platform and we dive toward a elevation of the terrain that goes from 14m to 30m depth. There, we cross a beautiful arc. Depending on the current, we can surround all the elevation or we can return to see an amazing backlight near the platform.
Dive spot to the east of the Island of Porros. We anchor on a huge shallow platform until you reach a drop where the current is normal, this favors the presence of animal life. We will also find an ascending tunnel in the rock with beautiful backlights that will take us back to the platform.
One of the furthest dives from the port of Fornells and the closest to the Integral Marine Reserve of the North of Menorca. We anchor on a submarine mountain near the Illa de ses Bledes. We surround this mountain by the walls that drop up to 30m, seeing the variety of holes and life that it shelters.
On the north coast of Minorca, in Arenal de Castell, at the bottom of the reef of Cala Morts, you will find a large, submerged rock to explore. The play of light on the rock is very interesting.
This dive is located under the Cavalleria Lighthouse. We start the dive in a seamount at 6m depth to drop down to 20m immediately. We find tunnels, life and ascending towards the platform, we find a very entertaining labyrinthine area.
Dive spot located in the north of the Island of Porros. Starting at the north end of the wall, head south following the usual slight current. Apart from how impressive it is to see the cliff, the highlight is the number of huge and elusive groupers that we can see on this dive.
Immersion in a buoyed area within the port of Fornells, perfect for taking courses when the weather conditions do not allow leaving the port. Sand bottom with rocky areas and Posidonia.
Dive spot in the south of the Island of Porros. We dive along the south wall until you reach the corner to access the north wall. At this point there is a lot of life. The base of the wall is at about 12-15m and there is a hillside populated with Posidonia that descends to 40m.
Near the Cap Cavalleria lighthouse, in the North reserve. 18 meters maximum depth. Entrance from the shore, a wonderful beach. We can reach the remains of a sailboat that sunk years ago.
10 min navigation from the port of Fornells. We anchor inside a small cove at 8m depth. Leaving the wall on our right hand side, we will dive a system of caverns, at shallow depth, where the great attraction are the backlights. Maximum depth: 18m
We anchor at a depth of 15m. Wall dive. We start the dive with the cape on our left, which we will follow until we find a series of large boulders. Here, after passing between them, we start to return with the wall to our right. Maximum depth: 30m
