Our Marsalforn Diving Center, Islands Tec Dive, is a small dive school in Gozo Malta, managed by two passionate diving instructors. We offer daily morning fun dives at our amazing Gozo dive sites. Moreover, we offer a vast range of diving courses with SSI, from total beginner, over advanced and rescue courses up to technical diving. As we work on a small scale, we have the flexibility to accommodate everyone in his or her needs. Our main priority lies in high-quality service, and henceforth to give every one of you the best experience possible!

Unlike at other dive destinations, most of our dive sites are reachable from the shore. As Gozo is moreover fairly small, it is easy to reach them in no time with one of our cars. We are able to offer courses for all levels, from total beginner to advanced and even professional, and now also technical diving. Therefore, our diving school in Gozo Malta offers a wide range of diving courses and specialities. Moreover, do our dive instructors and guides speak English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian!

★★★★★ MV Karwela (Wreck)

MV Karwela is the most popular wreck here on Gozo. It is an old German-built ferry used as excursion boat around Malta scuttled in 2006 for divers. It is easy and safe to enter and penetrate the wreck. It has fantastic staircase, 2 decks to explore with a dark engine room underneath. For experienced divers. 32-40m

★★★★★ Blue Hole

Blue Hole is the most famous dive site in Gozo with spectacular underwater landscapes and amazing light effects. Look for the remains of the Azure Window (“Azure Alps“), the cavern, and a fun chimney and swim-throughs.

★★★★★ Rozi

Rozi was a tugboat that operated in Grand Harbour of Valletta. Was scuttled in 1992 as an underwater tourist attraction for submarine tours, and also became an artificial reef for scuba divers. It’s around 35m long and lies upright on a sandy bottom, with her mast starting at 20m and most of the wreck at 30-35m.

P29 was a former patrol boat for the Maritime Squadron of the Armed Forces of Malta. She was intentionally scuttled in 2007 to serve as scuba diving attraction and artificial reef. Is 52m long, and sits upright at a depth of 34m with the highest part at only 12m depth from the surface.

★★★★☆ Hephaestus

Hephaestus is an oil tanker that was scuttled to Xatt l-Ahmar on 29.8.2022 as an underwater attraction. This is a a shore/boat dive for experienced divers. Max depht 42m.

★★★★☆ Inland Sea

Inland Sea is another dive site in Dwejra, close to the famous Blue Hole. It is an 80m long open tunnel leading to an open sea. It offers stunning light inside and outisde the tunnel as well as the drop off full of fish. Perfect more more experienced divers. Depths between 5 and 30+ metres.

A rock needle that rises from the depths to about 16 m below the surface. Beautiful wall and an impressive view over the wall into the blue water.

★★★★★ Santa Maria Caves

Santa Marija caves is one of the two dives during our Full Day Boat Trip to Comino. It is a shallow and easy cave/cavern system safe and fun even for less experienced divers. At the end of the dive you’ll be encountered by a huge school of friendly sea breams that alaways awaits our boat to come.

The P31 Wreck is another dive site visited during the Full Day Boat Trip to Comino. It is a small patrol boat wreck between 11m and 20m, making it a perfect dive site for those beginning their adventure with wrecks. It is safe to penetrate as all dangerous parts have been removed.

★★★★☆ MV Xlendi (Wreck)

Xlendi was a former Gozo Channel Line double-ended cargo ferry between Malta and Gozo. She was scuttled in November 1999 to form an artificial reef and an attraction for scuba divers. MV Xlendi wreck is around 80 m long and lies on a sandy slope about 44 m deep. Xlendi is a great site for experienced divers.

Double Arches is a spectacular dive site in the north of Gozo. Usually a boat dive, it can also be reached from shore. Discover two arches on top of each other between 20 and 36m. Best for more advanced divers.

★★★★☆ Xwejni Bay

Xwejni Bay is a picturesque, shallow bay, ideal for intro dives, training and night dives. It also provides easy entry and exit point.It’s well known for its posidonia fields hiding lots of different fish and peculiar underwater landscape with canyons.

★★★★☆ Azure Boulders

Azure Boulders is the most famous dive site in Gozo, spectacular underwater landscape and light effects. What to look for: the remains of the Azure Window (“Azure Alps“), cavern, chimney and, swim-throughs​. This site is 5-30 metres. This site is great for all levels.

★★★★☆ MV Cominoland (Wreck)

Cominoland is one of three wrecks scuttled in Xatt l’Ahmar in the south of Gozo. It is an old excursion boat to Comino that was scuttled in August 2006 together with nearby Karwela wreck. Cominoland is 35m long and lies at 40m. It has two decks and offers lot to explore. For advanced divers.

★★★★☆ Wied il-Ghasri

Ghasri is a beautiful bay that leads to the famous Cathedral Cave. You can dive it from land or by boat. A shallow bay with lots of natural light and a maximum depth of 18m on the outside. You can just explore the bay or go to the cave from there. It is a challenging dive site as it has 100 steps down into the valley.
