
The Tri-Bird Plane Wreck is a 20 meter long airplane that was sunk on purpose on March 1st, 2012. It has a wing span of about 25 meters and is lying upside down on sandy grounds. The wreck starts at a depth of 25 meters down to the ground at 30 meters.
Camia was Boracay’s first artifical reef. It is a former steel-hulled fish processing vessel, sunk on purpose January 2001 by BASS. It is 30 meters long and rests upright on a sandy bottom at 32 meters with the top deck ar around 22 meters depth.
A dive at Fridays covers two divespots: Fridays Rock which is up to 18 meters deep and Fridays Reef which reaches 12 meters of depth. Its a very well visited divesite.
Balinghai Wall is 15-20 minutes boat ride from most Boracay dive shops. The dive site has a steep coral slope running parallel to the shore line. Starting depth is 8 meters to a maximum depth of 25 meters. The extent of the wall is about 800 meters long. There are artificial reef balls in the deep part.
This is an excellent dive site for beginners and training dives. The reef is covered with stony corals, leather corals, anemones, sea stars and sea cucumbers.
The jewel of all Boracay dive sites, for all adrenaline junkies: from the choppy surface, fast descent into the blue until you hit the top of the wall at 32 m....dropping down to 65 m. Best on a flood tide, to encounter all the feeding fish and open soft corals.
Easily accessible freediving site on a shallow coral slope. Normally little current, sand channels interspersed with coral bommies or outcrops for great photo opportunities!
