The house reef right in front of the Anilao Bo Hotel is a great dive spot for finding macro life at any time of day. There are so many macros inhabiting this place that you shouldn’t have to struggle to find them. It is the best site in Anilao that photo divers love because there is no current.
Anilao Pier is a great site for Macro Photography. Lots of unusual critters show up on this site. Night dives and Dusk dives are the best time to visit the area.
Basura is a dive site most suited for macro photographers that can enjoy an array of interesting critters. Look out for the frogfish, mimic octopuses, seahorses, harlequin shrimps, pipefish, bobbit worms, crocodile snake eels, and the rare nudibranchs that call Anilao their home.The diving depth is 3 to 18 meter
