Rasdhoo Beyru is an interesting site with the wall of the island of Rasdhoo on one side and massive coral blocks (or thilas) mounted on the outside steep drop-off of the atoll. These two features create a corridor of sand between the inner reef and outer thilas. In some places, the corridor is only 20 meters wide.
Twenty minutes distance from A A Mathiveri, its a cleaning station for reef mantas you will see mostly mantas and eagles rays. There there is a chance to see dolphin as well. High chances of seeing them are in Dec Jan Feb March & April
Hafza Thila AKA Angotti is a small Thila located in the North Ari Atoll and famous for it’s stationary grey reef sharks, which can be seen on almost every dive.
Once this dive site was on the top 10 best in the world. Due to this rating many divers dived this site and specially at night. The damage on the top of this Thila (diver error) is bad, but as from 12m acceptable. At night many giant trevally and some white tips hunting.
Bathala Thila is a submerged pinnacle east of the resort island Bathala Island. The reef top is about 40 m long and begins at a depth of about 6–10 m. It is covered with anemones and soft and hard corals. Overhangs from 10 to 20 m deep surround the reef.
Bathala Maga Khan Thila is a legend among divers in North Ari Atoll. Located at the entrance of the Bathala channel it is facing the Ocean in way to create perfect conditions for Grey Reefsharks and napoleonfishes...
North side of a narrow channel close to Gangehi island resort. Blows 2 types of current (Incoming or Outgoing). Mild to strong current. Top with 5 meters and bottom about 33 meters.
5 to 10 minutes from Ukulhas, a small uninhabited island name Fushi, the dive site is called Fushi Faru. this dive site is unlike any other excellent for beginner divers and advance divers. dive is a easy dive mostly with mild current. in the dive on the reef of Fushi you visit pinnacles attached to the reef.
This dive site starts as a wall dive and leads into the channel, here you can enter the channel to enjoy a deeper dive or stay on the drop off point of the channel where you can enjoy all the fish life in the current.
Pinnacle with a top at 2-3 meters depth. Maximum depth is around 23 meters. Sandy bottom and walls covered by hard coral. You can find curremts from mild to medium.
A thila situated in a channel 40 minutes from Kandolhu - a dive site not to be missed due to its variety of fish life. It was declared as national park in 1998. We have different ways to dive this dive site hence suitable with all kinds of currents, even strong current.
