Before being sunk, it was cleaned for the safety of the divers during the penetrations. Today this wreck is in navigation position and rests at 30 meters deep. Mares Mercurius (★4.6) The tugboat Mercurius was sunk on the same day and very close to the tugboats Saveiros and Taurus, after cleaning and preparation procedures for diving. Today it is in navigational position, practically intact. It can be seen the control room, propeller in duct and the engine room can be accessed. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Sao Jose (★4.5) Sunk alongside the tugs Bellatrix and Phoenix, is the tugboat São José. This wreck is in navigational position, resting at 29 meters depth. The house is whole, with the command house in the upper part. Above the engine room, there is a passage that allows penetration. Mares Phoenix (★4.6) The tugboat Phoenix is part of the Artificial Wreck Park of Pernambuco and was sunk next to the tugboats Bellatrix and São José, distant from each other in a few meters. This wreck is in navigational position and very well preserved. It can be seen the casario with command room, chimney, rudder and more. Mares, Janez Kranjc Minuano (★4.9) The tugboat Minuano was sunk on purpose and lies at a depth of 32 meters, supported on its keel. Its structure is well preserved and some passages are possible. It can be seen the ducted propeller, rudder turned to port, cockpit, mooring bollards and the bilge valves. Mares, Janez Kranjc Taurus (★4.6) After sinking in 2003, in Recife harbour, the tugboat Taurus was brought back to the surface and, due to the damages, donated to the artificial reef project. Today this wreck is at 25 meters deep, slightly adhering to port side. It is possible to penetrate and identify many pieces. SSI Service Center Brazil, 13211-693 Jundiaí SP Pirapama (★4.7) The reason for the crash between the Pirapama steam and the Bahia steam is still a mystery. It is estimated that this ship sank in 1889. Today it rests between 19 and 23 meters deep. Many pieces can be identified, which brings a great historical value to this shipwreck. SSI Service Center Brazil, 13211-693 Jundiaí SP Naufragio Agenor Gordilho (★4.5) Artificial wreck of the Ferry Boat Agenor Gordillo. Boat 71 meters long by 13.5 meters wide and 5 levels (decks). It is in upright position, slightly inclined to starboard. Mares, Janez Kranjc Alvarenga (★4.7) Old iron frigate, fully powered by sail, sank in front of Olinda beach, 15km away. Today it lies at a depth of 24 meters and its hull is preserved. Mares Copernico (★4.2) The ship Copérnico sank in the year 1883, due to a fire. In its cargo were found porcelains, sewing machines, marbles, among other things. Its depth varies from 0 to 6 meters, having a part exposed at low tides, and the visibility is usually very bad during the whole year. Mares, Janez Kranjc Vapor Bahia (★4.8) The reason for the sinking of the steamer Bahia was a collision with the steamer Pirapama, in which the cause remains a mystery. Today this dive is considered one of the most beautiful in Recife, with minimum depth of 18 and maximum of 25 meters. Many parts of the ship can be identified, and the ship is in navigational position. Aqualung Batelao de Cima (★4.1) The date of sinking of this ship is not precise, with sources pointing to 1850 to 1900. It was a small ship, which today lies at a depth of 25 meters and almost completely buried in sandy bottom. Aqualung Vapor dos 48 (★4.7) The identity of this wreck is still unknown. Due to its depth and steam engines, it became known as the Steam of 48. The highlight of the dive is in its engines, with operation in diagonal position, and all components intact and in operating position. One of the wheels can be seen. Mares Veleiro Orca (★5.0) The sailboat Orca is made of iron and was purposely sunk in 1998 to serve as an artificial reef, providing shelter for marine species. It lies at a depth of 38 meters and its structure is partially dismantled. Some parts can be identified. SSI Service Center Brazil, 13211-693 Jundiaí SP Servemar 1 (★4.6) Located 3.5 miles off the coast, in front of Boa Viagem Beach, the tugboat Servemar 1 is at a depth of 25 meters, slightly bowed to starboard. Its structure is not resistant, but some passages are possible, like in the engine room and where the steering wheel used to be. Both spaces are empty. Mares Veleiro Yemanja (★5.0) Iron sailboat, named Yemanjá, sunk on purpose in May 1999, in front of Pina Beach, lies at a depth of 19 meters. This wreck is partially dismantled, and some parts can be identified, such as masts, mooring heads and cavername. Mares, Janez Kranjc Rebocador Marte (★4.7) The tugboat Marte was sunk in 1997 to become an artificial reef. The dive starts at 16 mts and goes up to 33 mts depth and can be visited by advanced and experienced divers. The wreck is in navigational position and has 3 floors, with several passages and parts. Mares, Janez Kranjc Galeao Sao Paulo (★3.6) Old Galleon, from the beginning of the 17th century, sank at the Cabo de Santo Agostinho in a depth of 19 meters, its wooden hull no longer exists, only cannons and anchors, corals and many fish are found. It was already explored by pirates, thinking it was the Santa Rosa Galleon. Scubapro Draga Massangana (★0.0) This dredge accidentally sank in 1981 after helping to found the Suape harbour. It is located in the direction of Cabo de Santo Agostinho, around 11 meters deep. This wreck is upside down, so divers should be careful when visiting this site. Aqualung Virgo (★4.3) The tugboat Virgo lies on the bottom in a sailing position only 20 meters away from the tugboat Taurus, so in a single dive two wrecks can be visited. Large mooring bollards can be seen in the bow and the hull is in one piece, with a control room on top. SSI Service Center Brazil, 13211-693 Jundiaí SP Taurus e Virgo (★4.6) Due to the proximity of these two wrecks, about 20 meters apart, it is very common for divers to visit both in a single dive. The dive is relatively shallow, being made around 20 meters deep, with great safety for possible penetrations and guaranteed fun. Mares Walsa (★4.9) The Walsa is a tug similar to the Saveiros and Mercurios, sunk with the purpose of being part of the Artificial Wreck Park of Pernambuco. It lies at a depth of 40 meters and is very well preserved due to the excellent sinking. This is a great spot for technical and deep dives. SSI Service Center Brazil, 13211-693 Jundiaí SP Ilha de Ancora (★4.4) Ilha de Âncora is one of the main diving destinations for divers that frequent the region of Arraial do Cabo, Cabo Frio and Búzios, due to its proximity to the continent and excellent diving conditions. The depth at the points varies from 8 to 30 meters, welcoming beginners and advanced divers. SSI Service Center Brazil, 13211-693 Jundiaí SP Ilha Vitoria (★4.7) Ilha Vitória is very well known because it is in the middle of the way, between São Sebastião and Ubatuba, and can have as a starting point any of these municipalities. In this island shallow and deep dives can be made, being an option for beginners and advanced divers. PRO DIVER UMUARAMA, 87507-000 UMUARAMA Meião da Brasil (★4.9) Stream Dive Point. The light current associated with the type of bottom that mixes sand and rocks, leave an incredible visual that pleases divers of all levels. SSI Service Center Brazil, 13211-693 Jundiaí SP Chapeirao Atlantida (★4.0) The Atlântida Cliff is a little visited diving spot in Abrolhos region, but it offers a spectacular dive. The formations provide a dive with several passages and channels, until the arrival to a lounge, where almost 15 divers can fit. The depth ranges from 8 to 32 meters. Mares Praia do Meio (★4.9) A few minutes sailing from Porto Camargo, the diving point near Ilha das Araras has calm waters and a sandy bottom. It is possible to make both embarked entries and beach entry. MAR A MAR MERGULHO, 30150321 Belo Horizonte MG Parcel da Laje Branca (★4.4) Next to Laje Branca, within 3 minutes of sailing in the direction of Ilha Longa, there is a area that is 8 to 15 meters deep. They are submerged rock formations, with crevices, clusters of stones and corals. As it is a sheltered area, it is possible that on days of rough seas currents occur. OCTOPUS DIVE, 11615-600 SÃO SEBASTIÃO Ilha Montão de Trigo (★4.5) The island of Montão de Trigo, sometimes called Ilha Monte de Trigo, is an island in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located between the Bertioga bay and São Sebastião channel, approximately 10 km from the mainland. The island has a conical shape that resembles, as the name implies, a pile of wheat. Mares Praia Vermelha - costão do morro da Babilônia 2 (★4.6) Praia Vermelha is located in the neighborhood of Urca, in Rio de Janeiro. Facing the sea, the rocky shore on the right side is the Babilônia hill. Diving point 2 on this shore starts at the first cove and goes in the opposite direction to the beach until the beginning of the curve out! Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Tombant des Grottes (★4.3) A drop-off ranging from 20 metres to 50 metres with an extremely rich flat. Alcyonaria highlight the rock. Ribbon moray eels and spotted moray eels are frequently seen here. ←123
