Sotamar Diving Center, 17488 Cadaqués Clot del Boc (★4.2) Located in the bay of Cala Joncols, this dive takes place along a drop-off from 5m to 20m and on a rocky bottom. Sometimes referred to as “La fall“, the dive culminates in a canyon some 40 metres long. Sotamar Diving Center, 17488 Cadaqués Messina (★4.1) Located about 1.5 miles east of Portlligat, Illa Messina is a 12-25 m dive, punctuated by a 40 m-long rocky canyon in the submerged mountain. Ideal for day and night dives. BLANES~SUB - Diving Center, 17300 Blanes Punta Santa Anna - La Seca (★4.6) As an extension of Punta Santa Ana we find a large block of granite rock. Its profile of 17 to 3 meters depth is responsible for a good number of shipwrecks that have left us different archaeological remains among which we can still enjoy a few falconetes and cannons of the sixteenth century. H2O DIVING CENTER, 17230 Palamos La Caleta (★4.0) Infantry dive located next to Port Marina in Palamós. It is perfect as a first dive to explore the underwater world and for those who are at an early stage of diving. For the more advanced, we can find fantastic places like the Bethlehem, the Wind Rose, or the anchors. H2O DIVING CENTER, 17230 Palamos Llosa de Palamós (★4.0) Just a 10 minute boat ride, you find this fantastic dive site. Ideal for all diving levels, from OWD to the most advanced. 5 minutes of diving will get you to the ship wreck Boreas. Scuba Alegre Dive Center, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador Cala Viuda (★4.4) It has several caverns and tunnels decorated with anemones and red corals. Inside the caverns, you can find scorpionfish on the rocky bottom. To carry out this dive, good buoyancy control and flashlights are required. Club Esportiu Busseig Tarraco, 43004 Tarragona Chaparro (Wreck) (★3.8) The Chaparro is a wooden fishing boat in poor condition, but being on a sandy bottom, serves as a refuge for many species. It is accessible to all levels of divers. Scuba Alegre Dive Center, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador Cova de la Sal (★4.3) Easy dive. It can be done on the wall at a shallow depth (6-8 meters) and it can also be done over the Posidonia meadow that is between 12 and 18 meters deep. Juvenile wrasse, cuttlefish, octopus, and nudibranch tend to take refuge in it. Jacques V. (#3382631) Les Ferranelles (★4.3) Diving site where we find depths between 5 and 36 meters. Coral beds, oceanic posidonia between 8 and 15 meters and sandy areas from 22 meters, diving is done on the south side of Ferranelles island where we usually find the greatest diversity in the area. Posidonia Dive, 08392 BARCELONA Castells (★3.9) Boat dive. Depths are between 27m in the upper part and 35 meters in the deepest part, on the sea side. On both sides of the bar you will find sand. Much of this dive is deeper dive and so nitrox is recommended. Lots of life lives in the rock, so it is recommend to carry a UWlight. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Illa Negra (★4.4) Just south of Cap de Begur, sheltered from the north winds, we find a large island, made of dark rock, which is called Illa Negra. This is a simple dive, for all levels and that is always covered from the waves. BLANES~SUB - Diving Center, 17300 Blanes La Nacra (★4.6) La Nacra is an underwater mountain located right in front of the Blanes Botanic Garden, just 5 minutes sailing from the port. With depths of 12 to 22 meters it is an ideal dive for all types of divers. POSIDONIA DIVE, 08392 BARCELONA El Trencat (★3.6) Dive from boat. Easy NE-SW direction rocky bar with minimum depths of 17 meters and maximum of 23 meters. It is able to Open water level, always bring flashlight. Aqualung Na Bosca (★4.5) Two rock formations separated by a sandy bottom channel with abundant life. Once anchored, we begin the tour surrounding the largest rock whose maximum depth is 17 meters. Ideal for photography, where the use of nitrox is essential to enjoy as long as possible. Joan F. (#817239) El Fitó / Tres Pics (★4.4) The anchoring is done at a depth of 19 meters and consists of two route options up to 24 meters. The use of Nitrox for this dive is recommended in order to fully enjoy the diversity of species. Mares La Muladera / Roca del Moro (★4.3) The anchor line falls right in the middle of the two rocks, in the canyon. The anchorage is eight meters away, guided by the walls of both rocks, in a southerly direction and at a maximum depth of 24 meters we find a wide variety of rocks that house most of the marine life of the dive. Aqualung Roca de Santa Anna (★4.1) Santa Anna is a pyramid-shaped rock, with depths from 26 meters to 34 meters at its deepest. This dive is for advanced divers and also ideal for Extended Range dives and Deep Diving. The use of a flashlight is essential. Scuba Alegre Dive Center, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador La Pedrosa / Cala Pedrosa (★4.3) It is a wall dive inside a wide tunnel where you can find multiple yellow nudibranchs, scorpions, and polyps. Near the east exit of the tunnel, there is a chimney which reaches 8-10 meters deep. The use of a flashlight is necessary. H2O DIVING CENTER, 17230 Palamos Ullastre I (★4.2) A 25-minute boat ride down the coast, in front of Calella, there are three underwater mountains called Los Ullastres. From beginner to advanced, there is a lot to see for every diver. Beautiful steep walls with gorgonians and lots of fish are just one example. A torch is recommended. Scubapro El Brut (★3.8) One of the oldest diving and fishing sites in the region. El Brut has been long known even since the Romans and for good reason. The local life is abundant due to the 4km long rock formations and the quantity of Posidea. Stollis Centro de Buceo, 17212 Tamariu / Girona Montiell / Conger Reef (★4.3) The reef Montiell, protected from currents and waves, is only a 7-minute navigation from the dive center. The coffee bean-shaped rock, which is surrounded by sand, has a maximum depth of 24 meters and is particularly easy to navigate due to its topography. A torch is recommended. Mares Sa Bauma (Illa de Tossa) (★4.3) Multilevel immersion with different routes, one of which reaches 24 meters, and the second up to 30 meters in the deepest part for experienced divers. Both photography and video-sub are highly recommended as well as the use of Nitrox. Stollis Centro de Buceo, 17212 Tamariu / Girona Furio de Aigua Xelida (★4.4) 10 minutes north-east of Tamariu we find the rock of Aigua Xelida. On the Mooring line you can already reach the reef in 8 meters.The highlight at this place is a small cave at 12 meters near the anchorage, big enough to dive through as a buddy team. A lamp is recommended here. Scuba Alegre Dive Center, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador Baix de Cols (★4.3) Baix de Cols is a diving spot with a wall and two pinnacles, the largest starts at the surface and descends to 20-22 meters. The smallest starts at 1-2 meters and goes down to 18 meters deep. Club Esportiu Busseig Tarraco, 43004 Tarragona El Vapor (Wreck) (★4.1) This is a dive for all levels of divers. This wreck was a wooden steamer that caught fire and is on a sandy bottom at about 17 meters maximum. The Vapor is only accessible via dive boat. Scuba Alegre Dive Center, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador El Marmoler (Wreck) (★4.6) Baix de Cols is a diving spot with a wall and two pinnacles, the largest starts at the surface and descends to 20-22 meters. The smallest starts at 1-2 meters and goes down to 18 meters deep. Mares, Janez Kranjc Coves Eden Roc (★4.3) Dive two caves at 25 meters deep and with entrance and exit in front of about 20 meters. It can be accessed from the beach although it is sometimes difficult to access, the best option is by boat. Scuba Alegre Dive Center, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador Cambres (★4.4) Easy dive with great light contrasts and with possibilities to see different environments: rocky, sandy and seaweed bottoms. The dive is on the wall and you can go through a large arch at a shallow depth. The dive has a tunnel that connects to La Cova del Dolfí dive site H2O DIVING CENTER, 17230 Palamos Roca Roja (★4.1) The Roca Roja is straddling between Platja d’Aro and Palamós. It is characterized by a rock formation that ranges between 8 and 30 meters deep. Two pinnacles are connected with nice rocks crossed by two small canyons. H2O DIVING CENTER, 17230 Palamos Ullastre III (★4.2) Located practically in front of, and less than two miles from, the port of Llafranc, you will find three fantastic underwater mountains called Els Ullastres. Stollis Centro de Buceo, 17212 Tamariu / Girona Furio Fitó (★4.3) After a 35 minute boat ride we reach the site Furio Fito. A plateau with an impressively beautiful steep wall overgrown with sea fans. An additional free-standing rock needle is located to the east near the reef. From time to time we come across a stronger current, so it is only suitable for experienced divers. Scuba Alegre Dive Center, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador La Depuradora (★4.1) It is a wall dive with a sandy bottom. The maximum depth is 24 meters. It is accessed from the coast. The south side is a wall where sponges and anemones are usually seen. The north side is an area with many algae where nudibranchs and seahorses hide. H2O DIVING CENTER, 17230 Palamos Boreas (Wreck). (★4.3) Outside Palamos, oriented to west we find Boreas, a 40 meter ship lying on it’s port side. It’s at a depth between 20 and 35 meters on top of a sandy bottom. Posidonia Dive, 08392 BARCELONA El Santuario (★4.2) Boat Dive. This is a sunken fish farm. You can find a metal structure at the 26-meter deep bottom that rises to a 12-14 meters deep. Ideal to Nitrox divers. POSIDONIA DIVE, 08392 BARCELONA Les Lloses del Negre (★3.7) Ideal boat dive with Nitrox. This bar has depths between 25 and 35 meters so it is a dive only suitable for advanced or deep divers. Bringing a flashlight is recommended. POSIDONIA DIVE, 08392 BARCELONA Montseny (★3.5) Boat Dive. Oval-shaped rocky bar with a minimum depth of 19 metres and a maximum of 28 metres. Very suitable for Nitrox due to its average depth. Mares Els Bullents (★4.3) Bullents is one of the most biologically diverse dives in the area. The anchor is set at 18 meters and you will descend through the different rocks until reaching 25 meters. Do not forget to look towards the blue as it is an area of passage for other species. Recommend using nitrox. NIMAN SUB, 08301 MATARO Barreta D’en Serra (★4.4) It is a bar that is parallel to the negre and the pujolà, more or less at the height of Pins Mar. It is a bar that has a certain depth between 18 and 20 meters, ideal for any degree, although you have to watch the bottom time. Aqualung Bau de la Ferrera (★4.3) The Bau de la Ferrera is a perfect place to dive without complications, since we can descend directly on the reef where only leaving the rocky formation to our right, we can go around the reef from 18 to 32 metres deep, apart from being able to find the remains of the Phedon. Mares Barreta de L´arbre (★4.6) Boat dive, maximum depth between 18 and 22 meters. La barreta de l’arbre is a dive in one of the mythical bars of Mataró. This point is within the Special Conservation Area. Scubapro, Stephen Frink El Negre 15-22 (★4.5) Parallel to the coast with the typical structure of the bottoms of Mataró, we find the Negre, a long bar that can be done in different sections. The depth of this area is about 15 to 22 meters. Mares La Draga (★4.4) In front of the port of Premia de Mar at a depth of about 34 meters we find a submerged ship, it is an old dredge of about 20 meters in length, surrounded by sand, which sometimes does not facilitate its location. As it is not a large vessel, it allows us to explore it easily. Scubapro Xori B (★4.7) This barreta is located near the barreta d'En Serra, depth from 16 to 18 meters. It is a bar with an infinity of underwater life and that gives a lot of play to both people who carry cameras and those who simply want to enjoy a variety of life. Scubapro El Negre Petit (★4.8) Maximum depth between 17 and 28m. which corresponds to the extreme end of the Negre bar. It is a very wide bar that allows you to play with the depths. Porous rock and good-sized gorgonians. Aqualung El Triangle (★4.3) Section of the Barra del Negre where the explosion of small and large life will make us all enjoy. The depth ranges from 16 to 22 meters, therefore it is suitable for all degrees. Aqualung Barra del Pitufin (★4.6) In this dive you will be amazed at the background style you will see. Leaving the classic porous rock in the pitufín bar we will find large stone slabs that, placed one on top of the other, give shelter to diverse wildlife. NIMAN SUB, 08301 MATARO Balis 22 (★4.6) At this dive site we move in front of the Balis harbor. We will be surprised by this rather wide bar, of porous rock, where we can stop to look for hole and crevice life. Mares Pic de les Morenes (★4.3) Just in front of the port of Platja d’Aro, this is a surprising diving site with a nice navigation profile and the possibility of seeing lots of life. 12→
