Current: Generally mild; occasional medium currents suitable for drift diving Mares Thalatta House Reef (★4.4) Thalatta Dive Site is the house reef of Thalatta Dive Resort, located along the rich marine coastline of Dauin on Negros. It’s a versatile and easy-access shore dive known for macro life, training dives, and relaxed exploration. Aqualung Pura Vida House Reef (★4.4) In this amazing Macro diving spot, you will find a couple of boats and cars that were sunk in the muck created a very interestiy dive site on the beautiful black sand Mares Lapus I (★4.0) Lapus Shallow Dive site is an ideal dive training site. It is a sandy slope with some rock formations. Most of the time there is a light current except for slack hight tide. Scubapro Paliton Sanctuary (★4.5) Paliton Sanctuary is a wall dive starting from a depth of 5 m, going all the way to 50m. This makes it an ideal dive site for every level. Beautiful and intact coral gardens are found with lots of little macro critters. Hans E. (#3545391) Dauin Marine Sanctuary (★4.4) Dauin Marine Santuary in Dauin’s Poblacion district 1. The most visited dive sanctuary with promises of turtles and beautiful coral gardens. Great beach area as well for sunbathers. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Chocolate Island Malapascua (★4.1) The island is located between Maya and Malapascua and is basically just a rock coming out of the water. Some trees are covering the stones and birds made the island their home. From the walls of the island it slopes gently to a max. depth of 18m. Aqualung Malatapay (★4.1) Malatapay is a small sheltered bay located at the end of the road of Malatapay Market. It is characterized by a sandy shore entry and is a muck diving site up to maximum depth of 26m. Going north, there is a medium sized reef with mostly soft coral below 10m and hard coral starting around 8m Mares Exotic Dive Resort house reef (★4.4) Exotic’s protected area where the fish are plentiful, this Reef is not to be missed. Starting at 5 meters and gently sloping to 13, it’s a great place to work out the kinks after some time out of the water. Amongst the scattered coral and patches of sea grass, a wide variety of fish and macro life can be found. Scubapro Panorama Reef (★4.4) Sloping wall to sandy bottom at about 25m/80ft. Mix of hard and soft corals with lots of creatures throughout. About a 20 minute boat ride. Could be some current. Mares, Janez Kranjc Tepanee Sanctuary (★4.4) The waters of Tepanee Beach in Malapascua Island offer a calm and scenic dive environment, known for their clear turquoise visibility, gentle slopes, and thriving reef life. Aqualung North Point / Deep slope Malapascua (★4.2) “Deep Slope“ in Malapascua is a renowned muck diving and macro site characterized by a sandy slope that resembles a dune, typically ranging in depth down to roughly 28 meters. Peter S. (#417559) Monad Shoal (★4.3) Monad Shoal is considered the best dive site in the world to see the rare and timid Thresher Sharks. These sharks normally live in the deep but regularly come here early in the morning for the cleaning station. Aqualung Lighthouse Reef (★4.1) A favorite night dive site in Malapascua found on the northern part of the island. The dive usually starts at dusk to enable divers to watch the Mandarin fish. Aqualung Punta (★4.4) The very first marine protected area in Dauin is also the most popular dive site due to its proximity and gentle slopes. This makes it the perfect spot for beginners. Mares Baha reef (★4.5) Just swimming distance from Dive Point Siquijor dive center there is a Baha Reef, reach with coral rocks, giant table corals and marine wild life. Excellent night dive here is guaranteed. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Gato Island (★4.5) Gato Island is a well preserved marine reserve and sea snake sanctuary. This is one of the five famous dive sites on the Island. The site is a tunnel where you take a tour underneath the island. This site is best for more experienced divers/ Mares, Janez Kranjc Evo Reef (★4.4) The Evolutionary House Reef (Evo Reef) in Malapascua, managed by Evolution Diving Resort, is a premier muck diving site known for macro life, artificial structures, and excellent night diving, located near the shore. Ciro S. (#2908869) Talisay Dauin Beach (★4.4) Located 100 from Azure dive resort, this dive site offers something for divers who enjoy either coral reefs or muck diving. The site is a combination of sandy slopes, seagrass beds, and a coral reef. with lots of macro critters Mares Atlantis House Reef (★4.4) Located directly in front of Atlantis Dive Resort, the Atlantis House reef is a combination of sandy areas, artificial reefs, coral reefs, and seagrass beds. Aqualung La Tortue House Reef (★4.8) Located at the southern end of the Dauin Poblacion District 1 Sanctuary, it offers amazing diving for beginners, advanced and expert divers with both muck and a big, healthy reef. There’s also a mini reef at 30m for Advanced Divers to enjoy. Atlas Divers-Philippines Inc., 6013 Daanbantayan Mangrove (★4.4) Mangrove is a great dive site for open water training with an average depth of 8-10m and a maximum depth of 14m. There is a nice sandy area and a patch reef. Atlas Divers-Philippines Inc., 6013 Daanbantayan Pasil Reef (★4.5) Pasil Reef is a nice sandy area suitable for muck diving. Also it is great site for night diving. Max depth is around 16M. The average depth is 5-8M. Mares Poblacion District 1 (★4.6) This is the first Marine Sanctuary in Dauin. A coral reef site that promises good amount of reef fish and a number of resident turtles. Easy access shore dive site. Mares Poblacion District 2 (★4.5) One of the best Macro dives sites of Dauin. This is also the favorite training site for Beginner and advanced courses because of its long sandy bottom and graded sandy slope. Excellent diving conditions as well, especially during Northerly winds. Scubapro San Miguel (★4.4) Great coral formation right next to an awesome muck site. Rare nudibranchs like sheep nudis and seahorses abound this area as well as a variety of frogfishes and a promise of octopuses.
