Malatapay is a small sheltered bay located at the end of the road of Malatapay Market. It is characterized by a sandy shore entry and is a muck diving site up to maximum depth of 26m. Going north, there is a medium sized reef with mostly soft coral below 10m and hard coral starting around 8m
This site is a favourite of the local dive community who are avid macro photographers, here you can encounter frogfish, seahorses, octopus (seasonal), nudibranchs, and others
