Mares Flynn Reef - 2 Gordon's (★4.4) Location: Flynn Reef Maximum Depth: 22m Visibility: 15m. Site: Gordon’s Mooring has some great swim-throughs and overhangs amongst the variety of smaller bommies. Features a wide range of corals such as brain and plate and diverse marine life including large established giant clam gardens Scubapro, Stephen Frink Flynn Reef - Coral Gardens (★4.5) Positioned 20 kilometres east of Green Island off the Cairns coast, Flynn Reef is home to several dive sites - with the Coral Gardens being just one of them.Located on the outer reef this site has consistently good visibility of close to 30 metres. PLEASURE DIVERS MAGNETIC ISLAND, 4819 ARCADIA Alma Bay (★3.7) Alma Bay has a shallow fringing reef on both the left and right sides. Gentle sloping, sandy bottom with very little water movement. The maximum depth is 9m with an average depth around 5m. SSI AUSTRALIA, 4207 YATALA Flynn Reef - Little Tracy's (★4.4) Flynn Reef is one of Cairns’s outermost reefs. Expect excellent visibility. Flynn Reef provides some excellent wall dives, sloping coral gardens, and sandy lagoon holes where you can find coral bommies. Litte Tray’s is one of the many amazing dives on Flynn Reef. REEF ENCOUNTER, 4870 CAIRNS Twin Peaks, Saxon Reef (★4.5) Two large coral peaks with lots of shallow reef around to the southeast. The reason the site is named fingers is from a Birdseye view it looks like the fingers of a hand, the fingers themselves sit to the South-West of the site and can get quite deep. SSI AUSTRALIA, 4207 YATALA Norman Reef - Playgrounds (★4.4) On the southern part of Norman Reef, we have Playgrounds and Shark Mountain. Playgrounds for more beginner divers and Shark Mountain for a bit more advanced divers. Beautiful coral reef and bommies to explore. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Evolution, Saxon Reef (★4.5) This site is made up of a collection of coral bommies, where you can find many different features. It is a good dive for all the levels, being around the shallows will surprise you with the incredible marine life that you can find. LADY MUSGRAVE EXPERIENCE, 4670 Burnett Heads Lady Musgrave Aquarium (★4.3) Accessible via the channel from Lady Musgrave Lagoon, maximum depth of 8m where anemones, hard corals and clams are found. Reef sharks and green sea turtles regularly spotted. Mares Lighthouse Bommie - Lady Elliot Island (★4.5) Explore the enchanting Light House Bommie dive site at Lady Elliot Island! Immerse in a kaleidoscope of marine life amid spectacular corals. Glide alongside graceful sea turtles, encounter majestic manta rays, and witness schools of dazzling fish. An underwater paradise teeming with biodiversity awaits! Mares Table Top (★4.4) Table Top is a huge, beautiful bommie situated on Norman Reef. This bommie is famous for its beautiful plate corals on the top and diversity of marine life. It is a deep dive normally with a current. On the top of the bommie the maximum depth is around 5 m.
