There is low surge making this a calm entry, after which we do surface swim or about 150m. Mostly used of entry level dives. Mares Lynch Blinder (★4.6) Lynch Blinder is at the West Cardenal Buoy in saldanha bay. There is a rock formation and the drop of by boat is on the western side. This site is dependent on the wind and tide. Mares Jutten island (★4.2) Juttan island is situated in the entrance to Sadanha Bay. It is part of the NPA and permission has to be obtained. This is a boat dive and is done on the eastern side of the island. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Paaltjies (★5.0) Paaltjies is Poles marking a cluster of rocks that are a danger for shipping in Saldanha Bay. The way of accessing this site is by boat and the drop of depends on the tide. Mares, Janez Kranjc Seven Blinders (★4.2) Seven Blinders is situated in the north-eastern side of the saldanha bay harbour area. It is accessed by boat and has an old wreck that is scattered over the seabed among rock formations. The entry point is marked by south Cardenal Buoy. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Langebaan Main Beach - Cuttle Fish Alley (★3.4) This dive site is opposite the main beach of Langebaan and it is recommended that it is a boat dive. Best time to dive is in the lull of the Tides. Mares Yacht club (★3.0) Langebaan Yacht club Dive site is accessible only in the week working days and NPA permission is needed . Best time to dive is on the lull of the tides. The tidal current is strong there. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Langebaan Training Area (★4.9) Langebaan divers training area. This is situated in the Mykonos Marina and is where we do our confined water session training. Max depth 3m and min 2m. Mares Barrack Rock (★4.8) Barack rock is a deep dive site only accessible by boat. Barack rock is a pinnacle formation with two different depths, about 25m on the north side and bout 30m on the south side. the peak of the pinnacle is approximately 3m on low tide. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Slipway Saldanha Bay (★4.7) This is a wreck dive situated in Saldanha bay harbour at slipways restaurant. The entry point is the slipways restaurant jetty. The wreck is an old crayfish boat, that took on water while moored to the Saldanha que. Aqualung langebaan divers wall (★4.8) This site is done by boat and is just outside of the Mykonos marina and we use it for special occasions. The 100th dive gets done here. This site is prone to be hit by the swell so caution is mum of the day Scubapro, Stephen Frink Needles (★4.7) Needles is a outcrop of rock pinnacles protruding from west to east in a row from the water. This boat dive site is situated just south of Malgas island. Entry is mostly done on the northern sides west corner. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic North cardinal wreck (★3.8) This wreck is situated between the 2 north Cardenal buoys in Saldanha Bay harbour. This is a boat dive . The wreck is mostly covered in sand. Permission is required. Aqualung Jackobs Klip (Rock) (★3.7) Jackops Klip (Rock) is about 3nM west from Jackops Bay and about 45min from Langebaan Divers by boat. The Rock is populated with seals and the dive site is on the Northan Side.
