Lastovo is an island which lies off of the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia. This remote island lies in the Adriatic Sea and has a combination of history above water, and unspoiled marine environments under water. Lastovo is part of an archipelago which was named a protected marine park in 2006, allowing the marine environments to remain in exceptional condition. There are two dive centres here which cater to those wanting to take dive courses or those who want to just enjoy the pristine underwater world. 1. Islet of Bijelac

The best Months to Dive in Lastovo

Diving in Croatia and in the Adriatic Sea is possible year round. The waters, however, are the warmest in the summer between June and September, in these months, the waters are also the calmest. In the winter, the water temperatures range between 15°C and 19°C, while in the summer they go up to 25°C. The visibility is above average, between 10 and 30 metres, leaning mostly towards 30 metres.
