Enriched Air Nitrox (40%)

As a nitrox diver, you will lengthen your bottom times and increase your safety margin on challenging dives. In addition, you'll shorten surface breaks - so you can spend more time diving, not waiting! In this course, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge by learning about safe dive planning and performing dives with oxygen-enriched air up to 40% oxygen content. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% Specialty Certificate.

Stress & Rescue

In the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue course, you will learn skills to help you and other divers. You'll learn how to recognize stress and prevent accidents, and learn practical techniques for performing rescues and first aid. Through a combination of pool sessions and open-water training dives, you will become a well-prepared and confident rescuer in emergency and rescue situations. Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty certification.

Decompression Diving

Prerequisites : - At least 100 dives of which at least 20 to a depth of 40 meters - Rescue + React right certification or equivalents - Deep certification - Nitrox certification - At least 16 years of age The SSI Decompression Diving specialization will teach you to dive beyond no-decompression limits. You will learn to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression, using your recreational Full Dive System and one decompression cylinder. You will learn and practice how to effectively use dive computer functions, including gas switching, gas integration, time to reserve and time to ascent. Using these computer functions will become second nature, allowing you to safely conduct limited decompression dives without hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will be certified in SSI Decompression Diving and will be able to explore stunning deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being limited by traditional no-decompression limits. The possibilities for expanding your diving adventures just got bigger!

The best Months to dive in South Croatia

Diving in South Croatia is a year-round activity, thanks to its Mediterranean climate. During summer, water temperatures range from 22°C–26°C/72°F–79°F, offering warm and comfortable conditions. Winter months see a drop to 13°C–15°C/55°F–59°F, requiring thicker wetsuits for divers. Visibility is generally excellent, varying between 15–30 meters/49–98 feet, depending on the location and weather conditions.

While diving is possible throughout the year, the best conditions are typically from May to October when the weather is most stable. The Bora and Jugo winds can affect sea conditions, especially in autumn and winter, potentially reducing visibility and creating stronger currents. These periods may be considered less favorable for diving due to increased wave activity and cooler temperatures. However, for those well-prepared, diving during these months can still be rewarding with fewer crowds and unique underwater sights.

Vassilios T., wreck (★4.6)

In March 1939, loaded with coal and bound for Venice, this ship’s rudder malfunctioned and the Vassilios subsequently sank. This 105m giant now rests on the sandy seabed on her port side; her hull, once full of coal, now gapes empty. This wreck lies from 20 to 55 meters deep.

B-24 (Wreck) (★4.6)

The highlight of this dive is the wreck of a B-24 bomber which crashed in 1944 and its hull with wings lies at a depth of 40 m, while the tail is accessible by technical divers only, lying at the depth of 52 m in a distance of about 100 m from the hull.
