Vassilios T., wreck
★★★★★
(1,042)
In March 1939, loaded with coal and bound for Venice, this ship’s rudder malfunctioned and the Vassilios subsequently sank. This 105m giant now rests on the sandy seabed on her port side; her hull, once full of coal, now gapes empty. This wreck lies from 20 to 55 meters deep.
You will see crayfish snappers, moray eels, conger eel, octopus, scorpionfish, nudibranch, amberjack, pina nobilis, and schools of damselfish.
