Located on the west coast of Costa Rica in the Puntarenas Province, bordering the Pacific Ocean, is Manuel Antonio National Park. The climate here is tropical with warm air temperatures and warm water temperatures throughout the year; the water temperature ranges between 26°C–29°C/79°F–84°F. There is a rainy and dry season here. The rainy season runs from May to November, and even though visibility decreases during this time, the amount of pelagic life drastically increases. The dry season provides ideal diving conditions.
