The SSI Decompression Diving specialty will teach you how to dive beyond the limits of decompression. You will learn how to plan and perform diving to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using its total recreational diving system and a single decompression tank. You will learn and practice how to efficiently use the features of your dive computer, including gas changes, gas integration, reserve time and time to surface. Using these computer functions will become second nature, allowing you to perform dives with limited decompression without hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will receive SSI Decompression Diving Specialty certification and will be able to explore impressive deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being restricted by traditional no-decompression limits. The Divemaster program is the first step of an exciting journey. Earn the respect of your fellow divers and become a diving ambassador by taking the Divemaster program. All you need to get started are 40 verified/registered dives and certifications in Deep Diving, Sailing, Night and Limited Visibility or at least 5 verified/logged dives in each area, plus Diver Stress and Rescue. You will be certified as a Dive Guide after successfully completing the Divemaster program. When your interest is to turn your passion into a profession, guiding certified divers, teaching Ecology programs, assisting instructors or even becoming an instructor, your next step is the Divemaster Upgrade with a minimum of 60 logged/verified dives. Upgrade to Divemaster immediately or at any time by studying Science of Diving materials and passing the Digital Final Exam that makes you an SSI Professional. This internationally recognized training program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventure as a certified diver. Personalized training is combined with hands-on water sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to be truly comfortable underwater. You will receive your SSI Open Water Diver certification. The course starts on this date and lasts approximately 3 weeks (confirm dates at the time of registration). The course consists of a workshop, 5 confined water (pool) modules, and 4 open water dives. Knowledge acquisition can be done online using the SSI e-learning platform. The exam is taken in person or online, according to your preference. The course includes the use of all necessary equipment and decompression sickness insurance. Swimming skills are mandatory.

The SSI Extended Range Foundations program offers all divers an opportunity to expand their advanced diving skills in a workshop environment. Learn more about technical diving equipment with any total diving system you are certified to use, and develop your basic skill set to master buoyancy, balance, stabilization techniques, positioning, and communication. During the course, the diver learns to master trim, balance, buoyancy control, efficient propulsion techniques (frog, flutter, modified, and backward), skills such as S-drill, V-drill, SMB deploy, and much more, always in team coordination, and all within the rigorous standards of the DIR philosophy. Classes combine theory, confined water practice, and real dives, ensuring that each student develops confidence and consistency in different environments and conditions. Another highlight of XR Foundations is the focus on DIR (Doing It Right) equipment configuration — a standardized system that prioritizes simplicity, functionality, and safety. This approach allows divers to work in an integrated manner, reducing errors and increasing efficiency in routine or emergency situations. You will receive the SSI Extended Range Foundations certification upon completion of this program.

The Try Scuba SSI program is the best way to experience scuba diving for the first time. The Advanced OWD course is supplementary training to the initial diving course. Advanced OWD is a highly practical course, consisting of five dives, which can be taken immediately after the initial course, taking only two or three days. This course is part of the path all divers should follow before considering diving independently, without supervision or guides. The course will allow the newly certified diver to improve their basic diving skills, buoyancy, and experience diving in more demanding environments, such as reduced visibility or deeper dives up to 30 meters. The Advanced Open Water Diver course is essential training for all beginners who want to feel more comfortable and confident diving. Upon completion of the course, you will be an Advanced Diver and certified to dive to 30 meters.
