Azul Diving Center Madeira, 9200-044 Caniçal Madeira Garajau (★4.3) This site is the most popular dive site on Madeira Island, located around 100 meters offshore. The sea bed consists of a sandy bottom where huge rock formations lie creating the perfect environment for the famous Dusky grouper. Can be done by boat or from the shore by car. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Dori Wreck (★4.5) Wreck 130 meters long and about 30m wide. This site is renowned for its two prominent volcanic pinnacles that rise from a depth of 30 meters to about 12 meters below the surface EasyDivers Unipessoal Lda, 8200-371 Albufeira Santa Eulália (★4.5) Santa Eulalia is the most popular dive site in Albufeira. It is a natural aquarium at a depth accessible to all diving levels. With a wide variety of marine life, you can see nearly all species of fauna and flora in the Algarve region concentrated at this dive spot. Fabio Duarte F. (#3016802) Naufrágio (Corceira) Corveta Afonso Cerqueira (★4.6) The corvette „Afonso Cerqueira“ was sunk on 04.09.2018 in front of the island Madeira. It is now a big attraction as artificial reef for divers and freedivers. All decks and rooms are accessible. The Wreck is 85 Meter long and rest in a depth of 12 - 33 Meters. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Lavafinger - Galo (★4.2) The dive site is located directly at the dive center and the entrance is well suited for beginners. Whether you explore the small cave, search the wall for sea creatures, or undertake an anemone tour, there is much to discover here. Mares, Janez Kranjc Willy Wonka (★4.6) Located just 10 minutes from the Ponta Delgada marina, the name of this spot comes from the fact that it is in front of a chocolate factory. It is formed by rocks of volcanic origin with depths ranging from 7m to 19m. During the dive you can pass through arches of different sizes. Aqualung Baia de Sao Pedro (★4.2) Protected dive site with access from the coast and a maximum depth of 9m. Excellent conditions for teaching open water diving. Presence of marine life with a mixed bottom of rock and sand. Aqualung Baixa das Âncoras (★4.2) This rocky area used to be an anchorage for boats visiting the Port of Vila Franca. It is characterized by having several scattered anchors from different periods, some of which are still intact. It also offers an amazing night dive! Aqualung ILHÉU DE SÃO ROQUE (★4.7) 5min by boat from Ponta Delgada marina. It has a sand bottom between 5 and 10m deep. Ideal for Entry Level Divers. Surrounded by a volcanic wall from the surface to the bottom. Mares O Arco (★4.6) Located 10 minutes by boat from the Ponta Delgada marina, it is characterized by a bottom made of volcanic rocks and a main arch within 3 to 4 meters high.
