Scubapro, Stephen Frink Raymond’s Point (★4.5) Located in the middle of the coral triangle at Bunaken National Park, this dive site is a wall dive thriving with marine life like beautiful corals, sponges, and more! Perfect for freediving, scuba diving, and snorkeling as well. Aqualung Filitheyo Thila (★4.2) since 2025-09-28, under construction, under construction, under construction, under construction, under construction, under construction, under construction, under construction, under construction, under construction, Maldives Passions, 08090 Maafushi Kuda Giri Wreck (★4.4) The Kuda Giri is a very pretty, very well-established giri (pinnacle) with lots of small caves and overhangs, this giri is also covered with beautiful hard corals on the east side. Mares El Bajo - Cabo Pulmo (★4.6) The beautiful underwater topography mirrors the cliffs above water and creates a dramatic backdrop for the amazing wildlife sightings in the Sea of Cortez. Mares, Janez Kranjc Kandholhudhoo Thila (★4.5) A small thila on the northwest of Kandolhu resort which is suitable for all level of divers. It offers plenty of marine life and with some luck even eagle rays or mobulas can be spotted. The top reef starts as shallow as 5 meters and it falls to a sandy bottom of 25 - 30 meters. Mares Coral Gardens - Lady Elliot Island (★4.4) Explore the enchanting Coral Gardens dive site at Lady Elliot Island! Immerse in a kaleidoscope of vibrant corals, creating a mesmerizing underwater landscape. Ayala Bubbles, 08070 Guhli Guhli Beyru (★4.3) Gulhi Beyru is the outer reef of Gulhi, starting at a wall drop where we can often spot sharks, then crossing a small channel over sand where stingrays are common. The dive leads to a reef with a top of hard corals, sloping down with soft corals, caves, fan corals, and diverse marine life. Mares Navy tug (★4.5) Go Navy Tug (local name) Real name : Rigger 2 - Former Tug for the Navy mainly used to move assets around in the port. Sunk by Lee Statler (Commercial Diver) mid 1980s Aqualung Ambers Arches (★4.3) This is a fun and beautiful dive site set amongst huge underwater boulders that make large caverns. You’ll see lots of schooling fish and some sharks. This is only accessible by boat dive. Mares Turtle Bluffs (★4.1) Just west of the popular dive site General Store, Turtle Bluffs is a turtle cleaning station so be ready to see lots of green sea turtles and reef fish. This site is exposed to open water so there could be some current and this site must be dived from a boat. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Hale O Honu (★4.6) Hale O Honu is Hawaiian for “House of Turtle” and for good reason. You’ll see lots of turtles here! This is a great, easy boat dive fun for beginners and advanced divers alike. Mares Rainbow Reef (★4.2) In the Somosomo straight, the first day we went to the “Fish Factory” site. A short boat ride from the Taveuni Ocean Sports Nakia Dive Shop, weather dependent will throw you into the most colorful coral dives you e ever seen, along with marine life that calls this space home. SSI AUSTRALIA, 4207 YATALA Milln Reef - The Whale (★4.3) The premier dive and snorkel destination out of Cairns. Milne Reef has exceptional visibility and will impress even the most experienced diver. Gorgeous shallow coral gardens, swim-throughs, and a guarantee turtle encounters await you. Luca M. (#3528019) Elphinstone North (★4.4) Located 30km from Marsa Alam, Elphinstone North is one of the main dive sites in this area with lots of sharks and some of the most healthy coral reefs in the region. It is a 90 minute boat ride to reach, however definitely worth the trip! Scubapro, Stephen Frink Sha’ab Maksur (★4.3) Shaab Maksour is big Reef and similar to Elphinstone Reef. It is a huge reef contains 2 plateaus, one north and one south, both are fully covered with soft and fan corals. Drop offs are on each side of the reef. Mid reef in west side is a small lagoon. MARCO M. (#3118868) Koko Craters (★4.2) A short 10-minute boat ride just outside of Kai Boat Marina sits Oahu’s Koko Crater dive site. Topside views of Koko Head mountain from this side are unforgettable. A great dive spot for beginners. Aqualung San Benedicto Canyon (★4.6) ’El Canyon’ is located on the south end of San Benedicto Island within the famed Revillagigedo Islands. An amazing site that attracts large pelagics due to its depth and exposure to the open ocean. This is an advanced to expert level dive and can only be reached via liveaboard. Mares Sheraton Caverns (★4.6) Don’t forget your camera on this dive! Not only is the underwater scenery spectacular, but chances for whale and dolphin sightings on the boat ride out is also high. Sheraton Caverns is located just off Poipu Beach and is relatively untroubled by harsh ocean swells. Mares Vertical Awareness (★4.7) Diving Vertical Awareness off of Lehua, Kauai is a remote location for advanced divers looking for a real adventure. This rock wall drops off to over 130 feet deep with possible strong currents but the amazing topography and chance to swim with the endangered Monk seal make it all worth it! Mares Taotoi (★4.4) Privileged place to observe giant morays, sharks and all kind of reef fishes. It is a favorite dive site for beginners and first time divers in Moorea. Extra Divers Ghalib, Port Ghalib Abu Saile (★4.3) An amazing dive site that is approx. 50 min away from Port Ghalib Marina offering daily boats. This dive site is suitable for all diver levels. You will see beautiful hard corals in the shallow areas. The shore can be accessed through the hole in the reef top. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Bodu Hithi / Kuda Thila (★4.3) This site is known well for its manta cleaning station and feeding ground. Here, between December and April, manta rays come for cleaning or plankton feeding. This spot is great for diving and snorkeling. Mares Shipwreck Cove (★4.4) Shipwreck Cove on Buck Island is the home of Cartanza, an old naval supply ship. This shipwreck offers excitement for new and experienced scuba divers alike. Snorkelers can also enjoy the site as the ship is clearly visible from the surface. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Office (★4.3) The reef consists of various ledges and sandy channels, with the upper parts serving as manta cleaning stations. Located approximately 17km away, which is about a 30-minute boat ride, this dive site has depths ranging from 21-28m, offering a bottom time of 31 minutes for air divers and 40 minutes for nitrox divers Mares Inside Edge - Aliwal Shoal (★4.5) The inside edge of Aliwal Shoal rises from the sand forming a fantastic landscape of pinnacles, gullies, swim-throughs, and caverns. Some of the best diving in Africa is found on the Aliwal Shoal. It is home to a diverse array of marine life. Scubapro, Stephen Frink The Cathedral (★4.6) Cavern. Follows the thin passage back and it opens to a large chamber, on calm seas days you can surface at the end. Maximum depth around 25 meters. Joanie H. (#3091588) Nautilus Reef (★4.3) A unique reef made from an ancient lava field, Nautilus Reef is an easy boat dive just offshore from Ala Moana Beach on the island of Oahu. The northwest side, closer to shore, is shallower and then drops off to about 100 feet on the south side. Aqualung Big Fish Country (★4.6) One of the most popular dive sites in the atoll. 7 minutes from Nabucco Islands in northeast direction. The best time to dive is when the current is strong. This dive site is characterized by a channel which turns into a wall at 26 meters. A reef hook is required. Bernd J. (#4714358) Marsa Umm Gerifat South (★4.4) Snorkelers and divers can enter the park via the jetty/zodiac, speedboat, or beach. The entrance is very easy because you enter the water from a staircase. This site is a slowly sloping reef with many plateaus and up to 40m depth. There is a beautiful canyon at 6 - 18m. Training platforms at 2,3,5 and 9m. iDIVE Komodo, 86554 Labuan Bajo Sebayur Kecil Komodo (★4.6) Sebayur Kecil is a sloping reef. This dive spot is suitable for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills as well as for snorkelers. Usually no to light current is present. Great dive site for searching for small inhabitants, yet deeper down divers can spot different sharks. Jessica F. (#2893219) Abu Dabab II (★4.3) Reef and coral garden in front of Abu Dabbab Bay. Beautiful cave with bright light inside. Small and old wreck beautifully covered with soft corals. Approachable by zodiac. ChrisDiving, Dive Center Costa Rica, 50304 Playa Potrero Los Sombréros (★4.2) Sombrero is located 9.5km from playa Potrero or 6 miles. Its name is given to it by its shape resembling Mexican hats. There are several launching points all around the islands. The north side is rapidly deeper. Possibility of adapting the depth to the profiles of the divers all around the Island. Norbert S. (#2056803) Marsa Nakari House Reef South (★4.2) Very nice calm bay that is suitable for entry level and experienced divers. The bay guarantees a protected dive from the rough sea. Starting with a sloping sandy bottom, a dive to the north and the south sides can be conducted. Mares Himandhoo Thila (★4.4) Himandhoo Thila is located in the channel between the islands of Himandhoo and Moofushi. There is some interesting topography here with nice canyons and overhangs. Although this site is possible for all levels, beware of the current as it can get very strong. Nerea M. (#4242665) Monkey Head (★4.3) Monkey head is a 15 minute boat ride from Playas del Coco. The dive site is part of a pinnacle that above water represents a monkey head, hence its name. Under water it is one of our favourite dive sites. Marius D. (#1574909) Fish Head (★4.6) Fish Head Thila was formerly known for its enormous population of grey reef sharks. Now it depends on luck, season and the current to see them. The reef plate starts at about 10 meters depth and there can be currents. Fast descent required. Peter S. (#417559) Kuda Rah Thila (★4.6) A stunning underwater pinnacle just minutes away from the island of Kuda Rah. This dive site has been declared a protected marine area. The dive site is better for Advanced certified divers and those who are experienced with a bit of current. Nitrox is recommended. Mares, Janez Kranjc Five Rocks (★4.4) This dive site is quite unique in the fact that the pinnacle has split into five pieces over thousands of years of erosion. The pieces of pinnacle lay at depths of between 12m and 40m. Gregor K. (#2893197) Moofushi Kandu (★4.5) Moofushi Kandu is one of the prime channels in the Maldives to observe Grey Reef Sharks, Mantas, Eagle Rays and other big fellows. The channel entrance has a depth of 40 to 50 Meters. Crossings are only available at moderate currents Peter S. (#417559) Maamigili Beyru (★4.2) Dive site right on the corner of Maamigili Island at the southern end of the Ari Atoll, which also has an airport. Outer reef slowly sloping down to approx. 10 m, then more or less steep wall up to over 40 meters with smaller overhangs and crevices. Depending on the current, right or left shoulder along the reef. Mares Velassaru Cave (★4.2) Velassaru Caves is a beautiful spot on the outside reef of south Male Atoll’s northern tip. The name is given by the dive site location in combination with several overhangs spreading from depth levels between 10 to 30 meters. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Bathalaa Thila (★4.4) Bathala Thila is a submerged pinnacle east of the resort island Bathala Island. The reef top is about 40 m long and begins at a depth of about 6–10 m. It is covered with anemones and soft and hard corals. Overhangs from 10 to 20 m deep surround the reef. Mares, Janez Kranjc Kuroshima North Twin Rock (★4.5) Kuroshima North Twin Rock in Okinawa features two sea-exposed rocks and a dramatic drop-off to 50m. Known for soft corals and large schools of migratory fish like dogtooth and bluefin tuna, it also hosts vibrant snappers and goatfish, offering excitement for all diver levels. REEF ENCOUNTER, 4870 CAIRNS Central, Breaking Patches (★4.4) Offers a lovely shallow wall with picturesque beauty, making it an easy site to navigate. Shallow sand patches are perfect for skills and macro diving. The western wall does offer a little more depth but is also known to have some strong currents coming through. Mares, Janez Kranjc Norman Reef - Caves (★4.5) Amazing dive site with heaps of swim through for experienced divers. Big drop off plenty of marine life. Full of shallow areas for beginner divers with little caves and holes around to explore. DivePoint Rannalhi, South Male Atoll Rannalhi House Reef (★4.3) This is a very good dive site for all kinds of divers, starting with a gentle slope in the sandy bottom and then moving on to the reef which is quite widespread, with a maximum depth of 17 meters. Since its also a nursery for juveniles, some trevallys coming in to feed. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Cod Hole - Ribbon No 10 Reef - GBR (★4.7) Possibly the most well-known dive site in the world can be found roughly 96 kilometres north of Cairns, at Cod Hole. Part of the string of long narrow Ribbon Reefs, Cod Hole is home to a group of very friendly potato cod, reaching up to 100 kilograms, that have become accustomed to divers over the past 30 years. REEF SAFARI FIJI, 0000 NADI Sand Patch (★4.5) Just a 5 minute boat ride from the Shore and tucked between a gap in the reef is a small “sandpatch“. The dive site sits at 18M and has ropes set out at the bottom of mooring lines at 12m & 18M for divers to hold onto and watch the sharks feed! The surrounding reef is also home to a good mix of Bio diversity. ←123...10→
